Well, decided to give it a go for the new year. I've had a hell of a ride the last 4 years and had to put my focus on things other than training. FINALLY, im at a position in my life to devote the proper time to diet and training. Don't think i'll be hitting the stage anytime soon but i'd like to look stage ready.

I'm open to any new suggestions, help.... etc.

Won't be posting any public pictures right now... maybe later.

Today is offically Day 1... gonna join a new gym so i'll most prob be getting myself situated so that I can have an idea of exactly what is at my disposal. :D
 
Welcome back! Sorry to hear of your last 4 years of bumpy ride. But here you are and ready to begin a new life! Wishing you the best and I'll be following along.

Thanks for the welcome. I can't wait to get channeled again and get this ball rollling.... i'm long overdue! I hope this gym will have the bare necessities.
 
And last night began day 1... Not as bad as I thought it would be, i'm gonna have to get used to the equipment there... not what i'm used to but i needed a 24hr gym so it will have to do. Did back but my rotary started bothering me, never had shoulder issues before so maybe i just slept wrong on it. Taking it slow and easy to allow this old body to catch up to what my young mind knows i am capable doing. Felt awesome though!

about to head there again and work chest... wooohooo

taking it REALLY slow for the first month to allow my body to do some major adjustments so i'm not posting up my training schedule just yet. I'm doing everything on the fly and by feeling out my body right now. I've retained more strength than I thought I would but still need to be careful with that because I am not a young chick anymore and I sure don't want to throw a hip out.

Tell e about it. Seems like only yesterday angel wanted to kill us both for talking on the phone lmao...Have seend a lot of good peeps coming back these days though and a lot of them female. HMMM I wounder what is bringing all the woman back to ef?

So... was on a roll and took a slight fall down some slippery steps trying to move a huge printer. Landed smack down on my ankle, twisted it to crap. Then when that all gets better... I end up having everything else around me demand my undying attention... I can multi task but realized that I can'tt be in two places at one time yet alone three... I tried though LOL

Now ankle healed, everything else calmed down... knock on wood. I'm going to try to get consistant againt

If anyone has some killer shoulder workouts I would love to try them. I do the same ol thing as always. I need to try something different to shock these unresponsive things. This body part lags behind sooo bad.

Oooo, I'm curious as to what Radar recommended???




its a seated overhead lift ,you do it in front and then just clear your head about 2 inches ,then go behind the neck and repeat ,you will get a burn like nothing else,repeat until failure, i usually do 8 sets of these.:)
 
I used to do that. I should do it again. It was the only exercize I got a great shoulder pump from! I am glad you posted that.
