Well, my gym does NOT do bf testing & neither did my old gym..... there is basically no where around here who does bf testing. I even called the UofD's exercise dept. to see if they did hydrostatic testing & they never called me back -- left several messages.

How hard are the ones you buy in the store to use on yourself?? I'd be afraid I'd do it wrong. And the Tanita scale is worthless.....

I use the digital calipers and I think I am doing it right. You just have to practice so you know you are consistent with your pressure and areas. I am going to see if I can get a trainer at the gym to do it this week for me... and we'll see how close I am. The scale I just laugh at. It told me 25.5 % this morning. My calipers read 18.1% yesterday. You be the judge...
 
yep...get the digitalones...they are easy to use...


to getthe hang...take each site 3 times...throw out the hi and low and there ya go

Really all you need are the calipers and it really helps (REALLY HELPS) if you have someone who will help you get the skinfold pinch - esp on the tricep. Once you get the numbers you can drop them into the online calculators. I opted to bring my calipers to my gym and have a trainer get the skinfolds. Do it BEFORE you train. Its hard to get a clean pinch when you are sweaty. There are websites that show you where specifically to do the pinches.

Is a "Deit Coke" better then a diet coke for your skin ??? Just wondering what the nutritional factor differences are...
