I'd like to move that we make the 102 sets of arms post by SSAlex a sticky...so that we can all be reminded of...well...ummm... everyone needs a good laugh every once in a while. :)

Yes lol it should be sticky! I grew up on a farm and I know exactly what is STICKY something excreted by bulls that sticks to the bottom of your boots!

Alex, I love your 24 sets of behind the back dips. Your shoulders would be crying in pain/injury before doing half of those alledged sets!

reminds me of a guy over at bodybuilding.com, did the same routine pretty much ... got the same responses too
 
i found SSAlexSS before pic on musclemag...i would like to see your after pic after the 102 arm set routine.

if you posted a pic with some improvement, i guarantee people would stop flaming your post.

i for one am uncertain about the routine. i do not believe it would work, but Arnold himself tried something similar for his thighs and claimed to make great gains with it. so you never know:confused:

Thats a good question, where re your legs Alex? Alex, you should so 102 sets of legs, 52 sets of squats and 51 sets of calf raises next time.

I will definately start to immerse myself in the wisdom of this bodybuilding veteran so I too can look like a prisoner of war.

First pic with 2 dumbells. I WASNT REALLY WORKING OUT! Yeh i did few sets with 20 pound dumbells for full body.... yeh....

Now I weight 210#


cytomel. My legs are on of my best bodyparts! In first pic it was 19 inches. Now they are 25 inches. (at the center)

If I dig up a new pic I will show it. To prove a point.

Alex you have often stated you have been training for less than a year , and you have learned so much. Now the first pic if my chronological time basis is correct is aroung the summer at 150lbs and the second is probably around october and now in April you weigh 210. 60lbs in 10 months, hmm the mass doesn't add up, that 6 lbs a month. Naturally....

And if you weigh 180 in the second pic, you must be all legs cause there is no significant increase in size on your upper body, and yet you weihg 210lbs now, Right!!!!!!! Keep taking your lithium to help the voices stay away......

now - i read somewhere you are in a dorm? so i will take this to mean you are in university...if this is the case, you would be eating 3 squares per day with ample time in between to take in protein shakes / etc, meaning mass gains would be conceivable...tho 60 pounds is a bit high i would say...

Well....I'm sorry, but I am going to have to call BS on that one. MY legs are 25 inches and they are WAY bigger than yours in that picture.

Not to put them down if they are currently 25 inches...but they sure don't look like it in that picture.
 
A gain of 60 lbs in under a year? Thats pretty good. Keep up the hard work, and by the time you're old enough to drink you'll be... damn... around 400 lbs. You are my hero stud

I clearly said that my legs were 19 inches in that picture!

Now they are 25 inches (at the midthigh).

Plus, that pic for legs is the worst. Not only I am not flexing them, or viewing them from front, but they are covered as well.

Heck all pros would look like they have chicken legs if they were in that position!

70 pounds in 2-3 years.


1 year + few month of weight room.
and few month with 2 dbs in my living room with a machine in the basement.

grade 11 140-150 pounds
grade 13(college 2nd semester) 210 now

First pic is pic of 2000 summer.
I didnt goto weight room then! WHat you see is all I had.

later I got a crappiest posible machine. THEN I went to the weight room.

I've been busting my butt for over 5 years now and have just now broken the 26 inch barrier on quad size. I find it hard to believe that you went from those pics to 25" in such a short time. Especially given your unorthodox training methods.

You are a punk. Please refrain from posting.

I`m a tall lanky 16 yr old teen ive only worked legs for about 5 months and they are over 25"
when i started they were like 22-23".....

Few things.

1) Where do you measure your legs? Midthigh like me or Upper thigh like people do it? Heck you eat some fries and you upper thighs grow... WOOHOO I MA HYOOGE you might say. I measure my thighs at hardest point. To measure the muscle size not how much fat I have accumulated.


2) BF%

3) Genetics.

4) I havenet figured out a good program for them yet.


5) I was like 140 pounds before I started training. Go figure.

I guess they are far from 25" then.
I only deepsquat 115 for 14 reps so...

im very tall tho and i do them very slowly

Actually b fold, you should incorporate this into your training. Here's what you do: Set up a course of about 3 or 4 of your favorite events. For example, a truck pulling station, a tire flipping station, a farmer's walk area, and deadlift station. Start at about 8am, go 'til around 5pm, and be sure to take minimal rest between stations. Also, don't eat anything all day, because you would get too much rest in between sets and would lose the pump. Let us know how it turns out. You should grow like a weed.

Like I said before...my quads are 25.5 inches...and that's big for a girl...so I don't see why he thinks his quads are big.

btw my left quad is 26 inches now. measured yetserday.

Note that her main goal is not size...but with strength training...size will come.

That's a big thigh for a girl in decent shape!

When I started bodybuilding in 1988 as a 15 year old I had 24 inch legs after a few months of training at a 31.5 inch waist and 172lbs, looking at my training diary from that time and I was only squating 220LB for my 1 rep max. Ahh memories :)
