1-ad/4-ad cycle

One thing I noticed with the 4-AD spray is it makes the skin on my upper arms kinda dry after a few days applications. Other than that I haven't noticed much side effects from 1-ad or 4-ad except a few pimples, which is funny cause I haven't had any for years.

Sup guys. Sorry not updating these last two days, been real busy with school and work. Today is day 6, weight was 185. Had a really good back workout today. Deadlift was up 10 pounds from last workout as was db rows. Chin ups ended up being pretty much the same as last week, but I'm five pounds heavier so I got stronger in those too. Gym closed earlier than I thought it was supposed to,so I didnt get to do shrugs but I'll get em tomorrow. I still have that tired feeling most of the day and I'm not as hungry all the time as I was on like day 2 and 3. Still eating the same amount , its just now it seems like I have to force myself on some meals. My back is starting to break out a little bit, but other than that I havent noticed any side effects, been pounding the water all week so that has probably helped a lot. I shave my head so if anyone is wondering about hair loss,I'm afraid I wont be much help on that:D . I was thinking that a little tanning might help clear up my back, that shouldnt cause any problems with the 4-Aderm should it? If anyone has some input on that I'd love to hear it. That's pretty much all I've got for right now. Halfway to my goal of 190 already so I'm pretty happy. I'll try my best to update every day from here on out. Later on

Day 7

Weight was 186 this morning. Today I started taking 400 of 1-ad instead of 3, well see how that works. Had another good workout yesterday, was shoulder and triceps day. All weights were up. I can tell that I've gotten bigger and it doesnt really look like I'm holding much water so that is good. Got a lot more veins showing than usual too. I guess the way to really find out how much water I'm holding is to see how much I keep after my cycle is over. Havent noticed any side effects really except that my back is starting to break out on my shoulders some. It also seems that I have to use a few more warm up sets than usual to get ready to lift, anyone else have that happen with them? Nothing really exciting to report today though, just thought I'd throw in a little update. Nothing exciting except ND getting the #3 spot in the BCS poll today:D .Sorry had to throw that in there, been almost ten years since they started 7-0 cant let it go unnoticed. Anyways, thats all I got for now. Have more tomorrow night after leg workout.

Day 10

Woke up this morning and was 190, was surprised as hell. I had moved up to 400 of 1-ad on monday but I didnt expect to go up this much. I didn't drink any more water than normal so I don't know what else it could be. Maybe I just held a little more than usual, we'll see when I weigh tomorrow morning I guess. Anyways, had my leg workout last nite. Started off with front squats and did my 5 sets on there and then my lower back began to cramp up terribly. There was really no way I could do regular squats after that, so I went ahead and did my heavy extensions thinking the cramping would subside enough for me to do squats last. It never did though,so I got in a couple on leg press instead. Just added a few more leg curl sets instead of doing sldl afterwards like I usually do,didnt think my back could take it. It was pretty much cramped the entire workout, this was the first time its happened. I've read of guys on roids cramping up in their lower back, could this be the same thing for me? If it did this after squats I can just imagine what it'll feel like after deadlifts this weekend or hopefully this was a one time thing. Does anyone have any other explanation for this? Thanks to anyone that can offer any input on this. Got chest and biceps tomorrow nite, will have another update then. Later

The lower back pump can happen, even while not "on" anything. More common on, been reported with 1-AD as well.

It can be a big problem for some, its not like you are used to a pump in the lower back.

If it is just a pump/pain, not to worry too much. Pay attention to your body - you don't want to mask a injury.

just started bout hte same cycle. Hope it goes as well as it been going for you. I am at like 5700 cals and double works outs haha. I am going nuts but itsonly a 2 week and 2 week recovery. Feels good after the first day. Wish i did have to eat so much. But GOOD LUCK with the rest of your time.

Day 16

Sorry bout lack of updates, school and work has kept me really busy this past week. I'm sitting at 193-194 as of today and just started my second bottle of 1-ad. I'm considering maybe bumping it up to 500 next week for my last week just to finish the bottle off, still have 4-ad dose at 600. May have to move that up some if I decide to bump up the 1-ad next week. I'll see how the rest of this week goes before I make that decision though. Weights have continued to increase in my workouts, hope I'm able to keep all these strength gains. I'm starting to break out a little more this week than the previous two also and sex drive has been pretty much dead the last week or so, that just seemed to hit all of a sudden. Those were to be expected though, so no unusual sides that I can notice.

Thanks for the reply Voodoo. I had never gotten pumps in lower back before I started this cycle, just wanted to make sure that it wasn't anything that I was doing wrong or anything. I've been stretching it out more since it happened and that seems to help out a lot.

Funkmaster-Damn,thats a lot of calories:D . (and I thought 4,000) was a lot. What are you planning to do for your post cyle recovery? Starting to prepare for mine with just one and a half weeks to go. Good luck with your cycle man.

Unfortunately this happens with steroids / prohormones sometimes. Anadrol and 1-AD seem to be particularly bad in this regard.

I think maybe it has something to do with nerve impingment or blood flow occlusion. The lower back is a sensitive are so a sudden hypertrophy of the spinal erectors may through all sorts of shit off balance.

Additionally, your supporting muscles in your lower torso may be lagging behind the rest of your lower back muscles. there is an exercise to work these and you do it sitting or laying down. Suck in your lower abs as much as you can - like you are pulling your waist in from your belt. You should not be flexing your abs at all - it is a sucking in exercise not an ab flex exercise. This exericse causes all the supportive muscles around your spine area and inner ab region to contract. Keep this contracted for 20-30 seconds or so and then relax. Do this every chance you get. It really helped me with my back problem
