I'd make sure you are making sure your potassium levels are fine. Low potassium levels will prolong soreness. Also, BCAAs are a godsend for me since I'm lactose intolerant and can't consume whey or anything dairy based/high in sodium (which basically means vegetarian protein powders). It can...
This has happened to me too. I have tried all kinds of blenders from expensive to cheap. Blending by nature is going to introduce air into your shake, and the longer you blend the more air you're going to have.
For me, without skimming, this resulted in a lot of gas and bloating, so I went to...
I'll echo the comments. Creatine did increase my systolic and diastolic by 20 points on each number, so I stopped. Added 7 pounds of mass and now the bp is back to under 120/80.

I tried Humanofort and it did zero for me. Labrada sells it here but it's apparently all the rage in Europe as being a tonic. What I mean by that is you take it and it is supposed to normalize your levels of whatever is bothering you. Google it and you'll see more info about it.

I've started reading that an increased intake of leucine is supposed to increase protein synthesis. 5g to 10g per day is supposed to help. I'm not entirely convinced though. Leucine is one of the branched chain aminos and I would think that by oversupplementing 1 and not the other 2 might not...
I just had to go through this myself because the protein powders I was taking was not only raising my sodium intake (and blood pressure) but cholesterol.
For Cholesterol, I take: 2 - 4 cups of Oatmeal for breakfast. The oat fiber in the Oatmeal is soluble. How it works is that it will absorb...
Actually I'm constantly grazing all day so it comes to around 5 or 6 different feedings per day normally. It looks like this:
meal 1 - 2-3 cups of oatmeal and protein shake
meal 2 - (about 3 hours later) Ham on wheat toast (or multiple sandwiches)
meal 3 - (about 3 hours later) more oatmeal...
I've used it for golf tournaments. It really keeps the nervousness in check especially when hitting in front of a group of people but they strongly warn to stay out of the sun with it.
I have my dog on it for anxiety when I first adopted her but never really saw any reason to supplement it for...
In 2001 I started taking Isopure Zero Carb because I am lactose intolerant. Protein supplementation was equivalent to about 400-500 grams in additional to 1 or 2 normal low fat meals. The protein powder/additional complex carbs is the bulk of my diet. It's boring, I know. Fast forward to...
I've never had any luck with Nettle Root apart from the fact it is a very good diuretic. For me it had no hormonal benefit. Of course neither did Maca or Tribestan. Both help create great erections and increased libido but no anabolic effects.

Having been a longtime reader I am now trying to find a supplement that would be an equivalent of insulin. If bb's are experiencing 20 pound gains over a 1 year period by insulin, is there a natural supplement that works like this as well?
I have researched ALA, chromium, panax ginseng (I'm...
I've used it off an on for about 6 months. I normally take about 5grams before bedtime with water (was most recently using AST Research).
1. It really helps with the sleep. It's almost narcotic-like in that it really knocked me out within 10 minutes after taking.
2. I saw zero benefit...
I am lactose tolerant as well and have been training for quite awhile now. I use whey protein as my primary protein supplement.
1. Avoid Whey Protein Concentrate. I found even a label that said "low lactose levels" was enough for me to break out. I found most WPC to have some lactose in...
I personally have tried the freezing technique as mentioned. The subsequent dethawing made for a smoke that was a bit on the brittle side. It was almost as if the moisture in the leaf and been completely removed by the process.
I have never tried microwaving them, but as a guess, would think...
