i doubt your wasting any serious amount thats worth worrying about bro

I agree very little waste BUT the foam shit is nasty!!!

I been using milk with hand full of ice in a shaker cup and I found that works well also letting it set in the frige for 15 20 min then slow stir with a spoon any foam works well too.

Muscle Tech powder is KING of the foam IMO.

You can use a Foam Arrestor but they are very expensive and are found more in lab blending equipment than your regular kitchen blender.

Foam Arrestor

About the only thing you can do as an alternative is to make sure that the blender container is sealed, that the actual container is as full as possible, and that you use a lower setting to enssure that as little air as possible is pulled down into the mixture. It is the air which gives it the foam.

This has happened to me too. I have tried all kinds of blenders from expensive to cheap. Blending by nature is going to introduce air into your shake, and the longer you blend the more air you're going to have.

For me, without skimming, this resulted in a lot of gas and bloating, so I went to a shaker and skim the foam and it all seems to work fine. The last thing I need is more gas.

Gas also seems to cause more diarrhea as well since I believe it interferes with the proper coagulation of the crap. If I feel bloating and a buildup I just take a Phazyme (simethicone) which seems to help.

To answer your question I would guess a extremely small amount of protein is lost.

Good luck.

Funny as i just had this problem after changing my supply from ON to a new brand. When i used ON Whey i never had any foam at all and it blended well, but recently in the UK the price of it went up by around £5 a tub so i changed to a diffrent manufacturer and it goes foamy as fuck, i just let it sit for a while it helps but still dosent get rid of it all. I also use a blender but imo thats makes it worse....

dude for sure if you add 4 or 5 ice cubes while blending you wont get any foam at all...

i guarantee it

I'm not sure if you guys would go for this but I usually drop in a teaspoon of olive oil into a foamy cup of freshly blended protein shake, stir it with a spoon and it goes away in seconds.
