Is St. Johns Wort that bad?

I am just curious. I heard that you shouldnt take it because it wasnt good for you. That is the only specifics of why I got. Wanted to see what the majority here thought.

I've used it and didnt notice anything bad... well I didnt notice anything at all really. But I guess it takes up to 6 weeks for the effects to be felt (I only took for 4). I've dont allot of reading, and really it is quite effective on those with mild/moderate depression. There are doctors who prescribe St John's in replacement of meds, so yes its quite good stuff. You might also want to run an elite search on 5htp, Sam-e, Valarian, and B12.
 
I've used it for golf tournaments. It really keeps the nervousness in check especially when hitting in front of a group of people but they strongly warn to stay out of the sun with it.

I have my dog on it for anxiety when I first adopted her but never really saw any reason to supplement it for bodybuilding purposes.
