owens is gonna have about 1200 yards and 10+ td's. Neegro knows how to find the paint and shake off defenders. AND actually has a good qb throwing to him. Unlike when he was in buffalo. i would also be starting TO over wallace. at least for the first few weeks. they are playing NE who has no CB's this year.

he's trying to be douchey and is just holdong onto one so he can trade him. odds are he finds out he won't get equal value in return and it backfires.

that would make sense if he hadn't wasted a high draft pick on them. whoever he ends up trading for will likely be someone he could've drafted outright. which just makes it stupid, especially if he loses in week 1 because of it.
 
lets see owens had one bad year with a shitty qb rotation. when he was gettin the rock from a decent qb he only had like 10-15td's each year. only had the best 3 years in cowboy history. and through his partial playing time this preseaso he's had 9 grabs for well over a hundred yards. dude's still a beast.

The offers will roll in, just watch. I'll snake a good backup QB and a star receiver for one of them.

And it's not like that's what I wanted to do, all of my top choices were taken.
 
got a dude in my league that want to trade me fitzgerald for finley? ppr league too. worried bout fits sprained knee. and last years stats were so so. finley could easily match those.
 
fuggit i took the trade, i still have zack miller on my bench as well as chris cooley and d keller is still on waivers. plus my recievers were marshall, garcon, gaffney, burleson, manningham so i think i'm better off taking the chance.

I joined a third league late last week, but first available draft date was the 14th. Looks like I'll be going 1-1 after tomorrow.
 
why did you eliminate waivers nimbus? they are in place for a reason. the shittiest teams should get first pick of players after the games are done.

if you don't pay attention, you won't put a waiver claim in for a player who did well. "acting quickly" is retarded. you shouldn't be able to pick up players until all of the games for that week are done, and then the teams who lost and/or are last in the standings should pick ahead of the teams who dominated. you sound sour cause i kicked your ass this week, that's fantasy. if it's going to be sit on your ass in front of the computer and click buttons everytime someone breaks out a big play i don't care to be involved, that doesn't take skill in evaluating talent, that takes luck. "ooh i was online when ryan grant got hurt so i picked up brandon jackson! i'm so good at fantasy!"
 
i've always played with no waivers and intended for this league to be like that also. so yea i took waivers away. to avoid a conflict of interest, i haven't picked anyone up since getting rid of waivers.
 
they do have a waiver priority list for those who don't use them regularly. but they are essential for reasons like injury or replacing a bust.

on a bright note in my big money league i was able to steal brandon jackson off waivers making my team very not bad for a 12 man league. also its a ppr league and i can get away with only starting 1 rb and 3wr and 1te or 2te 1wr 2rb or 1rb 4wr and can also sub in a def player for a r/w/t. i just can't do 3rb's. i think i did ok for 8th pick out of 12.

i lost because i benched flacco and put in stafford in my money league.Flacco had piss poor numbers but who could have predicted stafford was going to get injured. The 6 points would have made the difference.

I was up 3 or 4 points going into monday night. Opponent had jamal charles...i had ray rice and nate kaeding. lost by 3. FML

that long TD run was the killer. big bonus for big runs AND big run TDs

my big money league is like that. +1 for 40-60yd td pass,run,rec and +2 for 61+ same for 100+rush/rec yards per game and 250+ pass yds get a bonus as well as more points for yards past bonus area.

i play you this week.. should be a close one. we were the 2 top scoring teams last week.



agreed on teams not setting line ups.. legacys gonna give like 2-3 free wins out then randomly set his line up one week and beat someone. takes 2 seconds to set the line ups.
 
Yea I know, but i think I'm gonna have a tough week. Too many conflicting line up changes I have going on this week. Cowboys vs Bears has me real confused
 
I have never quit a league before but I just quit my Yahoo one. The commish was caught cheating, more than once. One was so blatant I gotta wonder what he was thinking. In week one his QB didn't produce so he stuck Vick in AFTER the game was over. Obviously prior to the start of the game Vick was a backup. The guy he was playing started complaining and he just kept deleting his posts. He also docked people points this week for trying to bring it up. Oh, but it gets better... he magically has Snelling in this week and presto, 47 points. Before the game started Snelling was a backup and not expected to see many plays until Turner got hurt. Incredible.
