I find it funny. Poepole don't want puppies sold in stores where they have professional staff, resources, easily regulated by the state, housing, etc.

so instead - it's encouraged for people to go on craigslist, puppyfinder, tc. and find puppies from people's homes, breeders and puppy mills. Oh THAT'S a better option. ("dont' buy puppies at the store - buy them from people's backyards on craigslist!").

Most animal shelters don't have puppies. I've checked many times. They try to talk you out of buying a puppy and buying an older dog (which may not be healthy & may or may not be house trained that's the prob).

professional staff = minimum wage? most pet stores get their dogs from puppy mills. buying from a reputable breeder is 100% better than a pet store, otherwise use a shelter/humane society.


i find it funny you are bitching about this.. didn't you buy a dog in another country only to find your mom was allergic? and then make a post about finding a way to unload it? that's not irresponsible at all.
