Hi, I'd like to formally introduce my noobness to the board.

Some Background: I'm a former U.S. paratrooper who mysteriously morphed into a pathetic tub of gelatin over the last ten years. I suspect the strain of starting a family and trying to keep the bills paid may have had something to do with this remarkable transformation. Ahhh who the hell am I kidding? Twinkies, chili dogs, soda pop, and mostly laziness are to blame but I digress. At one time could bench around 315lbs. and squat around 450lbs. and run 2 miles in 12 minutes while weighing about 215. I was pretty much your average combat ready jump school goon.
Currently: I've been working hard at the gym to regain some former glory and most importantly the happiness I will need to bring in a 40th birthday without having a "goodnight sweet prince" revolver in my nightstand ready to rock incase the depression of being a pathetic miserable fat f*** is too much to bare.
I have lost some flab and have been feeling hard a strong and have been mixing in cardio for 30 minutes 4 or 5 times a week. My diet is far from perfect but alot better than it has been. I've been drinking whey protien shakes in the morning, carbs around workout time, and things like tuna fish or turkey sandwiches and protien shakes the rest of the day. My rules are simple; No sweets, carbs only right before I plan to be active, and protein anytime and frequently.
Goals:First and foremost I want to feel good and be as confident as my mind and body will allow my soul to be. In order to achieve this confidence it wouldn't hurt to make my abs visible through this disgusting flabalanche that I call my belly. It's not terrible but unsightly to say the least but getting better everyday. Naturally(poor choice of words), I also am ready to pack on some quality muscle and strength on what I already have.
Situation and Questions I have 2000mg of oxandrogen(anavar hopefully) and some nolva to add to my supplemantation in the coming months.
First, at what point of my conditioning should I start a cycle? Like I said, I'm 260 but literally big boned 8.5 inches around the wrist. I'm probably around 25% body fat maybe more. I could probably make some natural strength gains still but having the cycle in my possession may be too tempting plus I want to be the best I can be by summer not to mention the motivational reasons for getting good workouts.
Second, I'm pretty sure gyno is an issue with me, since puberty I've had puffy nips and I've never even done steroids before. With this history would Nolva be an option throughout the cycle or should I save it for the PCT after I have an idea after fat loss how big the problem actually is?
