Best Protein source to ingest before bed?

What is the best protein source to ingest right before bed? I want to make a shake that I drink everynight before bed and throw that into my diet. But I know Whey digests fast and want something else that will digest slower over the course of the entire night. I'm thinking a mix will probably be best? But what mix of proteins will be the best?

Let me know what you guys think!
 
well casein for a powder, but do you really want to feed off of a sup for 8 hours? why not use food. whole eggs would be perfect. if your going to use a shake at least throw a few eggs in it.
 
supplemement would be casein but a whole food would be better like cottage cheese or eggs.
 
I use a mixture personally. Usually consisting of 12gm from Micellar Casein powder, 12gm from Pasteurized Liquid Egg Whites, and 12gm from a Whey Mixture containing hydrosolates, concentrates, and isolates. This type of mixture pretty much covers everything amino acid wise.
 
I use a 60g container of cottage cheese with cinnamon and splenda... it's like dessert! Or I drink a carton or two of liquid egg whites if I'm in a hurry.
 
I also use Optimum Nutrition for both my whey and casein protein. They are a little more expensive, but I <3 them! I tend to eat home-made tacos 93% fat free meat before bed, lol! I also <3 tacos!
 
I like cottage cheese with some whey and almonds or almond butter mixed in.

sometimes i'll make protein crepes though (eggs and protein)
