How do you figure that? If a doctor wants to practice in Norway, he's essentially a government employee with a fixed pay schedule.

Back in the late 1990's, I used to work with some cardiac surgeons at Papworth Trust outside Cambridge in the UK. They could do four CABG procedures in a day per OR and the doctors were making what would be $80K-$120K per year.

I would then just hand out flyers to norway people to come to the us and get a 600% better change of living! i'd make millions! Imagine if a canadian doc passed out flyers saying this to americans, his line would be out the door! If i had a cancer, my ass would be heading to canada within hours.

Last year 20 000 norwegian men had prostate cancer 1100 of them died. (not all died of the cancer tho) thats about 6%

Can only speak for norway, but in norway (2005) 1/8 men at the age over 50 had prostate cancer
