So I have a job interview on Wednesday...

...and Im considering blowing it off. Doesnt seem that exciting.

I also had one scheduled this past Friday, and as I was calling to cancel I got a VM saying they wanted to push it back to next Friday. Ill probably blow that one off too.

Why cant I get interviews for jobs that I want as opposed to places I submit my resume just to test and see whether or not the shit is actually sending (due to the lack of calls I get from the jobs that look interesting)?

And also after doing some research and soul searching Im liable to change my mind.

Im mainly applying for both finance and healthcare positions. The former because they pay well and thats what I do now...the latter because 99% of the companies will pay for my tuition. The only finance jobs I could easily aquire are sales oriented which arent attractive to me as thats what I do now. Apparently Im not skilled enough to transport patients from one floor to another at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, FYI.

Good luck.

I know the finance profession is hurting. I know lots of undergrads that can't find jobs.

Health care is the place to be, until the system collapses, but when that happens the finance profession will be totally wiped out. At least you have military skills and can shoot a weapon. IMO those are the skills to have when things get really bad.

Meanwhile 3 threads down, there's a thread about a few doodes who havent been able to find work in months and another one showing suggesting that jobless rates are probably much higher than whatever 10 percent they're figured at.

Im sure that if anybody on this board applied for these jobs they would get an interview. They are those types of jobs.
