After completing my 2nd contest this past weekend its time to grow...alot. Basic training with alot of compound exercises at this time.

Diet will be with whole foods for a while and I will add in my supplements slowly. I am using LBAs, multi and creatine. Nothing fancy. Just effective.

As of last night I was a rebounded 265. I have no weight goals. Nothing more than to grow muscle EVERYWHERE.

Getting back to heavy dips. Felt good until the dip station tipped. LOL It will take some time but my strength will come back.

Tonight I started back squatting. Had some back spasms so I would rest as needed. The weights were somehow off on one side. Same plates but was heavier. Tweaked my sciatic a bit. Took 585 down raw with no issue but it was not feeling right so I stopped...I learned from the past...went lighter still squatting my work sets to failure. Can't complain. And I miss squatting my way. I am using a bar ride on the base of my traps with a shoulder width stance.

Weighed 270 today. LOL I am gonna have kankles at this rate.

Training was strong overall. Using good compounds. Hit a pr on narrow grip bench press already. Delts felt good although creaky when training them. My delts and tris were really pumped so just curling was a chore at that point. Strong session. Still have good abs in spite of the water rebound.

Cardio: burned 158 calories

PWO: LBA's, 2 apples

Transforming a Misperception
Lack

We all know what it feels like to want something we don’t have. It may be a pair of expensive jeans, a romantic partner, or rent money; it may be a certain attitude, a car, or a savings account. This is part of life, and in the best-case scenario, we experience a constant flow of money and material possessions, companions and experiences, in and out of our lives. However, many of us linger in a state of wanting and not having, a state of lack that never seems to subside. We consistently perceive ourselves as not having what we need or not having what we want. This is an energetically draining state to be in. It is also self-perpetuating because how we feel about ourselves determines what we are able to create for ourselves.

How we feel profoundly influences how we perceive our reality. When we feel we are lacking, we look around and see what is not there. On the other hand, if we feel abundant, we can look at the very same situation and see a completely different picture, one full of blessings and advantages. The more we see the blessings, the more abundant we feel, and the more blessings we attract. Similarly, if we see lack, we tend to create and attract that energy.

If you find yourself habitually residing in a feeling of lack, it may be due to a core belief formed in your childhood or even in a past life. It may be because you are out of touch with your inner divinity, which is the source of your abundance. In any case, know that your perception of lack is a misperception that can be corrected with awareness and effort. It can be as simple as taking 10 or 15 minutes each day to quiet your mind and imagine yourself in a state of unlimited abundance, handling the financial demands and others in your life with total ease, drawing from an endless supply of resources. Know that it is your birthright to be fully supported in the fulfillment of your needs and desires.

Hey bro thank's for sharing this with all the bro's here at EF. I'm gonna be following along, and look forward to learning alot.

In your training video are you doing rest pause sets, or just pausing the camera untill your ready for your next set?

This is good stuff, love the vids. Your still looking pretty ripped for 277lb.

You like using the smith machin while going heavy? Or do you switch it up alot.

Thanks. Yeah I will stay pretty lean all the way through the offseason.

Smiths are great especially with my achey joints. But whatever works for you, ya do.

You really like pop tarts? heh.

Hey.. do you have cardio only days?
If so, what do you typically have post-cardio?

Awesome thread!

I've just been layed off for 3 days with gastro-intestial disorder (more commonly known as 'the shits'), was going to take today off as well, until I watched the vids and I thought what the hell, just had a decent workout.

Whens the DVD coming out?

On calves, did you just run out of plates or do you have different weight on one side?

you're a fuckin BEAST bro.....you look amazing

Props

Hams with romanian deads

finished off with two sets to failure on abductors then 3 sets of hanging leg raises. Stretched. :)

I am training with Tami doing our DC training, working with a different diet that I like and know will work. I am not working with Phil Hernon although he has been paid. I just didnt like where it was going. So I am going with what works.

LOL! I love how you just shoved the guy aside in your romanian deadlift vid. Did you see the look he gave you after that. haha.

I would have been mad too if i take the time to set up myself and have to stop everything because someone is in the way

Care to elaborate bro? If not it's ok, just got curious but i also it's business related.

I feel like when I see people train dc they sometimes stray away form it then come back. Why is that, or am I wrong?

I get switch it up sometimes, but isnt that why dc has blasting and cruising? Justin Harris was noted as saying dc for him was what he did for shows or powerlifting?

Just feel like I see allot of people who say they do it sometimes and not others...

Thanks

Thanks! You are no slouch!!!

I'm no where near where you're at...this thread is truly inspirational and motivational....

I go through this thread everyday before hittin the gym...keep the vids coming and keep us posted with your progress

Can't wait till you hit 300 lbs!!!!
