I bought a new gun Saturday. S&W 642 snubby. Went to the range with a couple of buddies and blew through some rounds. Yesterday I was lazy all day. The laziness carried over to this morning so I decided to stay home from work. Here's my new gun.

i had a satisfying weekend.
i picked up a huge box full of corvair monza interior parts i have been avoiding since last march (due to double knee surgery), detailed my bf's truck for payback for using it to get above items, washed both of my cars, changed the oil in the PT cruiser, got lucky saturday morning and evening, enjoyed a comp brunch at the marigny brassiere restaurant hearing the physter sisters sing their 3 part harmony live, cut the grass and did a quick clean up on the rental house being occupied this week...sumpin' else also but i canot think yet since it's five frigin o clock in the am and i need more caffine.

Very similar to my old carry. Little S&W revolvers are some super tough, reliable little bastards. Got me out of a bad sitch once.
Been carrying this one now for about 18 months
Glock 30 Pistol
Nice. Glocks are great. Probably my next semi auto purchase. Or a full size 1911 .45
I've been carrying a Beretta PX4 sub compact 9mm, but I like the option of pocket carry. The .38 snubby fits the bill perfectly. I would not want to catch a +P hydra shok in the chest from one of these little pocket canons.

Because of their compact size, people that don't know guns fail to appreciate how seriously a little .38 can knock their dick in the dirt. So true about them being great carries given their "footprint". And reasonable recoil too. The kick from the G30 took some acclimating.
