Yes, V E R Y glad I did it. We obviously have two different situations with different circumstances but it sounds as if you were entering into marriage strictly out of pressure and thinking that sacrificing your own happiness for the sake of the child was the best decision? If this is the case, then our situations are in essence quite similar...and yes, i stress again V E R Y glad I called it off. It was quite ugly at first but we have both since moved on and are now friends and always very cordial to one another.

Yes they are very similar. Her family thinks I cheated on here among other things. Did the family hate you at first? do they still hate you?

Yes, they did. Her father especially resented me the most. Soon thee after we found ourselves in court with both families completely involved. i remember after the first hearing, I was yelling at her father outside the courtroom with my dad behind me and her both of our mothers crying. It was pretty fucking rough at the beginning. Right now there are still slightly sour feeling at least between me and her father, who is a complete douchebag. We put on our fake happy faces though when we need to. I love her mother though and my mom regularly emails baby momma and talks to her mother. W all pretty much get along fine now. It really is just an adjustment period. A pretty fucking tough adjustment period with a lot of emotions involved.

It really will, it won't be easy, but it will. The most important thing you have to remember is to never let your child see any of the bullshit. When she gets old enough to remember things be sure to spend special occasions with the three of you if possible, to reinforce as much as possible to her that she is not the reason you two are not together.
