How can we increase the hate?

Just get anyone on the board who mentions anything besides being "gay" or something about their poop. Let that person have any opinion other than what is said on fox news, and that will enrage the most vocal haters. Have someone comment about doing anything charitable or having any good news to share, and the miserable people will line up with pitchforks and a bbq. Being a single mom will have one particular mod calling you a whore, etc.

You don't need to draw out hate on this site. It has the most I've ever seen on the internet anywhere.

Well, I think bb actually is more hateful but I haven't ever posted there. they let a poor kid die, afterall. however, now that I think of it, I'm sure the 99% of the people on elite would let me die, too and would probably laugh about it, too...lol.

i wonder why people experience things and don't internalize at all. i mean, it's not good to internalize EVERYTHING, but i have seen people who don't look inside themselves at all. they don't notice that whatever they're experiencing is only happening to them, or they don't wonder WHY they're experiencing it. Like people who are perpetually single and blame everyone else instead of examining what they do wrong.

it's different from how i am, and i don't understand it.

For me, it doesn't happen to me anywhere but here, and, no, I don't internalize all the pitiful and hateful remarks from idiots, thank goodness. I KNOW who i am, and I'm not someone who needs to act tough on the internet to get some slaps on the back or some attention, nor do I need to be the grand poo bah of a club and ostracize people, call them whores or cunts. I don't need to make racist slurs and hate accident victims. Yeah, i'm letting that garbage roll off my back, because I KNOW ME, and i know I'm above it.

True. True. I also wonder how people can laugh at various people's suffering. I don't understand how people can do that once the suffering passes a certain degree (ie war, bombing, famine, etc).

The weird part is that I start to think less of that person (depending on how well I know them and how much of a joke it is). I feel like I'm trying to keep the balance of the universe. Just waiting and wanting them to feel the same amount of suffering as those that they laughed about. To see how the person feels when the laughter is up close and personal.

Thank god that I don't know many people like that in my life. Those thoughts make me think less of myself...to want to stoop to that level.

or anything else in their life. i'm not talking about complaining about the job market- i'm talking about complaining about human nature, or a group of people, or their successes (or lack thereof).

My dad says I should have been a boxer because I will never stay down from a KO punch. lol. I should avoid the negativity, but I'm feeling particularly okay with myself lately. I like my choices in life. I love my son and my baby to be. I'm pretty happy. =-)

I'm only 6 weeks along. My LMP was December 17 and they actually count from there instead of from conception, which always seemed odd to me. I haven't had the time yet to go to the OB/GYN. I have an appointment on Thursday. I don't know the sex yet, but either way will be a blessing!

(Mind you coca cola is in the next cooler over, fully stocked).

So I was checking out this site, that was kinda shallow, but not at all really.. the idea was pure genius. Its a dating, friend site, that matches shows you imagery and you pick which images appeal to you most. There are like 20 different categories... and based on career, dating, motivations for 09, and so on. Thing is what strikes me is that, the correlations and percentages fit so accurately where I would guage my own motivations.

My point is that we are so vision, as well as auditory... just sense based, more so than we realize. Thing is we are so conditioned, especially today to need so much stimulation.
We become sense dependent to elevate dopamine levels or whatever. Marshall Mcluhan predicted this would happen. My point is... alot of peeps. including myself are hooked on a certain amount of stimulation. We need the hate and disdain and pwnage just to feel alive, yet we need also to connect to people to have meaning. So now we have this mess of contradiction.
I don't know who started what. However, it like an orchestra, based on sensations, conditioned perceptions, and shared separation through who can be the most clever at humiliating the other. I"m no linguist, but language is much much more powerful than we realize.

I don't have any solution's its like crying fire in a theater... we all look at what the other person is going to do, while we burn down.

Either way, so much killing happens offline... ya know?

My social psych project here doesnt' begin till March so I got time, well, anyway...
I don't know how hard the blackberry storm was to program, but I just gotta Blackberry Bold, I got it for free, my dad got one for christmas, and cant figure out how to use it and he hates phones, so I have 2 smart phones now...

I stayed up the entire night dorking out on how to program this bad boy and sync it with a mac, had a dude for 2 hours in Indonesia work bugs out for me. Those peeps at Rim are fucking on point.

What kinda gourmet coffee?
