Last time we talked u were feeling kinda bummed, I hope u are feeling better, I would love to see progress pics... and would just love to see ya more...

Hey Ariel!!! I'm doing fine. My life has been feeling really crazy but not in a totally bad way. My dad is here and he has Alzheimer's Disease. He is bored and confused. It's the saddest thing ever but all-in-all, it's ok. He doesn't understand why he can't babysit the kids by himself while I run errends. He misses my mom who is out of town and yet he cannot stay home alone or else he'll forget to take his meds, forget to eat and drink, ect.

Sigh....Alzheimer's SUCKS ASS

Alzheimer's is the worst because who are we but not our own stories... its like having your won personality stolen... the meds help tremendously, like namenda , and aricept.

There are projections that withi 12 years we will be able to lick this horrible mental disease... according to Kurzweill predicting exponential advances in biotech will lick this. You have nothing but my thoughts in abiding with that situation...

Seems like u get a break from one responsibility then another test or duty emerges...
U got depth, CM, I give U that.

Ariel! You know so much about it. Those are the meds he is on. If he takes too much namenda he gets leg crams.

OMg, the way this disease literally steals your mind and your confidence is just fuggin brutal. I would never wish it on my own worse enemy. My poor dad is young too. His physical body is perfect. It's just his mind that is going. He has a very early care of it.
