the show is funny... but the sad thing is alot of people have a boss that as clueless as he is in real life

The right manager wants a mix of both of those and many others traits to form a team that has many strengths.
The key for the manager is for all of these different traits and peronalities to work well together as a team.
If I had to pick one or the other I would take the work ethic first and find some friendly people quickly.

True. I can put up longer with an average worker with a great attitude than I can a great worker who is a F stick all the time.

Either that or forming win-win partnerships within an empowered gain-sharing atmosphere to help people foster interdependent relationships thus maximizing shareholder value and leveraging the value of the overall brand in the marketplace.

work ethic trumps everything. talented folks usually wind up begging at the doorstep of the rich.

if you find someone with talent and a good work ethic, you probably won't keep them for long.
they'll probably be your competition one day lol.

i have a few of these anomalies and i treat them well.
