7 panel drug screen?? (pre-employment)

I'm familiar w/ 5 panel. I would assume it is still very unlikely AAS detection is included in the 7 panel....can anybody shed some light on what is tested for in the 7? Thanks for any input.

I do a volentary drug test once a month, 5 panel. I know it checks for the major suspected drugs,(cocaine, mary jane, etc). However, there has been two times that I tested myself for AAS, just to see the life of the AAS in my system. The reason im telling you this is because the broad spectrum AAS drug test I took was over 250 dollars.. this seven panel test that you speak of is MORE than unlikely AAS. It probably has a psylopcybin dector which is not usually found in your regular test..and one other extra.

--Here is all the drugs tested on your seven panel drug screen.

THC (weed),COC (cocaine),OPI300(opiates),MET 500,BZO,BAR,OXY(oxycodones)

Im not sure what the MET 500, BZO or BAR is, but i know for a fact that they are not AAS.. the wife works for labcorp.

ectasy and pcp are the 2 extras.or at least they were on the fed test.and yes mdma is an amphetimine but does not show up unless specificly tested for. hope this helps.

A 7 panel will not include AAS. The test for AAS is anywhere from hundreds of dollars up to $1000.

The RapidCHECK? Multi-Drug 7 Panel Test is an forensic, all inclusive, point of use screening test for the rapid detection of 11-nor- delta 9 -Tetrahydrocannabinol -9- carboxylic acid (THC/Marijuana), Cocaine and its metabolite, benzoylecgonine, Morphine and its related metabolites derived from opium (opiates), Oxycodone (Percodan, Percocet, Roxicodone, Oxycontin), Methamphetamines (including Ecstasy), Barbiturates, and Benzodiazepines in human urine at or above the system concentrations levels established as standard minimums by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), the World Health Organization (WHO) and SAMHSA as shown in the chart to the right. There shouldn't be any reason for an employer to care about AAS, unless you're going up for football coach at a high school, or obviously for a pro sports contract or a competition. With that in mind, nobody in their right mind, would spend that much $$$ on testing for something that wouldn't affect your job safety or performance.

Just an FYI for anyone going in for one of those employment drug tests... I love poppyseed & lemon muffins. I wolfed down a half dozen of them on the morning of a drug test. BAD idea: Makes your test come up that you're an opium freak. It cost me $1500 to get a lawyer to write a letter and get a second test, and get a pathologist to write a letter that I had eaten poppy seeds and that I was not a druggie.

A standard drug screen will show NEGATIVE for steroids. An employer must test for steroids and its a specific test that is cost prohibitive to employers other than certain law enforcement positions and Federal Government law enforcement agencies. You are GOOD
