Crazy Title, Sure, My first 18 months on this journey has been something else. Some highs, lows, wins and losses. Most importantly some lessons. What works for you and what doesn't, how far can you push yourself until you break either physically or mentally?

Going from lazy and miserable size 40 pants to size 32 pants, going from a couple reps on the bench of 80kgs to warming up with 140kgs in a matter of months takes a toll. Yes you want to grow but it's a marathon, pin crazy amounts train for hours and eat like a beast, sounds like fun until it isn't.

I am writing this as a bit of an intro for those still on the fence about giving up that natty title and coming to the dark side. I don't regret anything but over the next 20 weeks I want to cover everything from daily training, supplements, cycle support, mental health, relationships, work, shit talk to me about anything I will give you a 100% honest answer and I won't sugar coat anything. If you are under 25 stop reading now kid this isn't for you, I am not trying to inspire you naive Lynx wearing mullet having snowflakes that wanna look good for your next sweaty music festival. Going from lazy and miserable size 40 pants to size 32 pants, going from a couple reps on the bench of 80kgs to warming up with 140kgs in a matter of months takes a toll. Yes you want to grow but it's a marathon, pin crazy amounts train for hours and eat like a beast, sounds like fun until it isn't.

I am writing this as a bit of an intro for those still on the fence about giving up that natty title and coming to the dark side. I don't regret anything but over the next 20 weeks I want to cover everything from daily training, supplements, cycle support, mental health, relationships, work, shit talk to me about anything I will give you a 100% honest answer and I won't sugar coat anything. If you are under 25 stop reading now kid this isn't for you, I am not trying to inspire you naive Lynx wearing mullet having snowflakes that wanna look good for your next sweaty music festival. Time for an overdue update, aim will be at least two updates per week, first week was a bit hectic.

So down to business:

Training wise: solid week got 5 of my 6 days training with the Arnold Program I now have on Hevy App under yankeedoodle if you want to follow will be using that today.

Todays Workout Breakdown is:

Chest and Back all workouts 4 sets 12 10 8 6 unless noted otherwise.

Bench Press
Incline Bench
Chest Fly Dumbells
Triceps Dip Bodyweight this week
Dumbell Pullover
Chin Up
Bent Over Row
Seated Cable Row
Inverted Rows

Diet nothing exciting really just targetng 3000 calories 300 grams protein 150 grams carbs and 75 grams of fat.
Diet mainly Chicken and Rice, Lots of Eggs, Optimum Nutrition Whey Isolate twice a day. Usually a small filet steak although trying to limit red meats the best I can this cycle mainly because of frequent heartburn and cholesterol but levels all good last bloods. My next bloods will be at the end of November about the mid cycle point.


Highs: Did get through my gym sessions and added NPP back in so that will help as it always does with joints, think it is one compound I will keep in every cycle as I don't like Deca.

Lows: Whilst I got through workouts I don't feel like I was pushing myself to failure near enough so will step the intensity up this week, I also missed my daily step goals as I was desk bound alot more than I wanted to be with work and study so will be more aware this week to take breaks and get some steps in during the day so I am not trying to smash them all out late at night on the treadmill.

Diet also need to space meals a bit better as I found myself a few times well past HANGRY but luckily a handful of almonds and black coffee helped me out a bit.

I will weigh in Tuesday Morning and also get another set of photos uploaded, not much changed physically in a week I still feel bit fluffy.

Slight hold up as I spent the week in hospital with viral encephalitis. A scary disease when you’re in a meeting at work and your speech starts to slur, you are texting people and they can’t understand your words because you’re typing gibberish. Next thing you know someone comes to check on you at home and you’re having a seizure. Life isn’t promised to us so make the most of everyday, your own body can try and kill you. @yankeedoodle You're eating a lot and you're eating everything in sight. That's good. Your body wants food and wants to grow. Can't fault you for any of that. All the food that you say you're eating is very high quality and single food ingredient.

Broccolini is a really good option. I definitely think it tastes better than regular broccoli. And it's got good benefits like cancer killing compounds. @yankeedoodle

The massive feeding frenzy is reflecting straight away in workouts as strength slowly gets back to normal.

Tonight’s workout a bit of everything just had many hours in garage today with lots of time between sets.

Bench Press

120kg x8
130kg x6
130kg x6
140kg x4
140kg x2

Tricep Dips not weighted because where the fuck is my belt.

18 reps
15 reps
10 reps
4 reps not sure if I rushed that set aimed for 7-8

BCAAs and five minute break then last set of tricep dips for 16 reps much better.


Standing Military Press

Oblique Crunches on the big sex ball

Absolutely the ice cream is gone this week and tomorrow doing some proper meal prep. It was excellent to listen to my body after being in hospital just screaming for fuel, even a dirty bulk sometimes hits the spot.

Glad to see that you are dumping the ice cream. It's honestly just not worth it. Maybe try making your own little desserts. @yankeedoodle
