Weighted dips and pullups

What do you guys think about weighted dips and pull ups? I was curious to know if its an advised workout or not?

love em. just get that belt with chain. great for my last 2 weeks of low reps in 12 week cycle.

i used to do them all the time. however as you get older you run the risk of herniated discs and rotator issues if you over train with them

I really like weighted dips/pull ups.

I am a big fan of free weight exercises. You will get way more out of pull ups then lat pull downs
