First injection, glutes or quads?

I'm pretty nervous at starting my first ever cycle, which is test e 500mg a week for 12 weeks. I'm 33 years old and I've been lifting for 7-8 years.

I can't decide on where to inject first? For the quads I have 25g 1 inch needles and the glutes I have 22g 1 1/2 inch needles. Any input would be greatly appreciated!
 
Go for your glutes. It's pretty much pain free. Quads can be a little more painful. Once you break the skin and get past the cutaneous nerves you won't feel a thing.

I remember the first time I pinned I was shaking and staring at it for about 10 minutes. But once you've done it it's as easy as breathing.

Thanks for the advice! I look at all these pictures as to where to inject, and I find myself staring at my ass in the mirror trying to get a visual, lol.
 
Most people I know prefer glutes but I prefer quads myself. I had to force myself to start rotating sites. One thing, the 22g is pretty thick. The 25g will be less painful.

Thanks, yeah that was one of my thoughts as well.


Is it a bad idea to do a 12 week cycle and only use one site? I was going to switch between glutes and quads during this cycle. Also I'm a bit nervous that the 22g is rather large.
 
I used 22's for a while they aren't that bad. a 12 week cycle rotating between either both glutes or both quads isn't too bad. Pins are cheap though. Get some 25g 1.5" and do them wherever you like.

cool good to know! I may have to start out with thighs and order some 25g 1.5" for glutes.
