Its small minded to think that extremist of any group is the representative of the entire group. I especially like it when this thought process comes from people that don't travel anywhere or have never studied theology or hell, have never even bothered to look into the religion they're vilifying on google..just repeat what they're spoon fed by a sensationalizing media with its own agenda.

I wanted him to be caught alive so we can learn why the fug he and his brother did this.

I also want (in an ideal world) folks in this country to be well read enough that they understand there's a pretty significant difference between a shia and sunni Muslim. You and other retards know them both as "terrorists," but those of us who arent willfully ignorant know that the latter represent 99% of the actual militant mooslims in the world. The fact that these kids were apparently the former (and proud of it given the videos on their respective youtube channels) raises a few questions.

Of course, now that we have one of them alive, he could simply say he was following his interpretation of his mooslim faith. For those of us who dont see the world in black and white, that would be interesting to say the least.

well i don't have a theological PHD and i have only traveled to a handful of foreign countries but...
imo it's small minded to try to justify bombing a marathon via the crusades.
and i'm guessing you know little about the event (saladin, richard the lion heart, the papal bull that provided an indulgence for going,etc) other than it was white people hurting innocent muslims just minding their own business and loving thy neighbor
it is a hard fugging thing to say, and i'd have thought you would have the balls to say it, but apparently you do not (head deep in the sand)...a large percentage of muslims quietly support jihad actions...subconsciously you know this, though you try to justify their violence by pointing out events that took place over a thousand years ago.

Oh and I wasn't justifying the bombings by bringing up a historically significant (in the name of religion) event. I was bringing up that religious extremism is bad mkay but isn't usually representative of an entire faith.
