My daughter is missing

Friends, if you could say a prayee to whatever god you believe in ir even if tou don't believe if you could just keep my daughter in your thoughts i will be in your debt. She went missing about 5am this saturday the 19th of may 2012. She had nothing but the xlotges on her back so it wasnt planned. We have nit heard from her at all, the police have no leads. I am going ti try to get an amber alert issued today if possible. She is 14 and super naive. She likes to think she is tough but we know better. She has never run away from home and I do not have a good feeling about this. I pray I am wrong and she is just too scared to come home. I don't know what to do. I am scared. I thank you for you all for being a part of my life dor the last 14 years.

I am so sorry to hear this, I will keep her in my thoughts and hope she turns up soon, hopefully it's just a teen overreaction to something and she'll be home soon, I cant begin to imagine how worried you and your family are, try placing the alert, it's best to be over cautious just in case, do whatever you can.

Did you check her facebook or her friend's for information?

I thought I posted here. Anyway, I wanted to say I'm very sorry to hear this. It must be incredibly scary feeling. I can't even imagine. I have a 14 yr old too.

So what happened? You said she went missing at 5am. Did she just walk out of the house or what?

I hope she comes back soon (or that she has already returned)
 
Ugh, my heart sank when I read that. I will definitely pray for you and your daughter. I ran way a lot so I'm really hoping it is something like that and she has come back or has been found. I can't imagine what you're going through right now.
 
OMG chesty. I am so sorry to here this is happening in your family. I will say a prayer today for her at church.
I am hopeful everything will turn out well.

wow dude that's so crazy/scary...my daughters are 12...i couldn't even imagine...i will keep you in my prayers...please let us know how this works out.
 
does she have a cell phone? when u call it does it ring or go to voicemail? anyway u can get acceess to her facebook/email for clues?

have you heard anything? Is it possible she went to a friend's house or snuck out last night, didn't make it back in time and is now afraid to come home?

I replied in your other thread bro...keep actively looking for her, get friends and family out and go everywhere she would go...my thoughts and prayers are with you bro...again being a dad of a daughter can be very heartbreaking at times, I speak from experience. I will keep checking back to see how you are doing Steve...keep up hope, and don't give up...she isn't far I'm sure.

Wow chesty, keep strong and keep us posted. My cousin once ran away from her family for 3 months, but she came back. Does she have a phone? Go to your phone company and get them to pull up the last phone call numbers, and text messages

there are only 2 active amber alerts right now...boy and girl in texas...snatched by their father...nothing else out there right now...however, it probably takes a little while to get something like that issued, yes??

oddly this is showing up as being under the anabolic forum now...but I knew its not

and you made a thread in both

if I was guessing, I'd say the original thread in the anabolic section got deleted because it turned in to a heated argument about theology and a question about parenting

the original post was a bit different steve...and he mentions putting it in both as well as his log....I can still connect to the original aas thread via a k msg (dunno whats up there)
I would be stressed to the max and not remember where it went too


and actually qt, aas regs got out of line in the thread up there....I commented on the irony of it
I would speculate that chat regs know where lines actually are (aside from spart) because C&C misbehaves so frequently...we all know where to toe the line and where not to
 
I appreciate all of your helps folks. I am stressed beyond belief and quite numb right now and don't mean to take it out on anyone. I just posted in both forums and the lifting log forum for maximum exposure. If she doesn't show up by tomorrow, I will post her picture up. We are in Bellevue WA. Amber alerts only get posted if an immediate threat of danger exists, if just a runaway, they won't do an amber alert. I used to be a deputy sheriff so I know the routine. I have been out looking for her, but I also have to remain at home in case she shows up. My wife is out of town till tomorrow night. She waited till she left to take advantage of me. My wife would always stay up till 3 am or so to make sure she was asleep and didn't try to sneak out. She has done this before. I have been numb and right or wrong, it is my fault. There was no fight, or anything.

It wasn't planned I believe as she took no clothes etc with here. She is not dressed for the weather up here and my old cop instincts are telling me it is bad. I hope I am wrong.

ah i see. i figured it was copied over to here this morning, but if he wanted one on here and one on AAS then everything is squared now

and to steven don't stress out bro about EF.. just shoot me or another mod a PM if you want your thread moved or what not. no big deal at all. QT, CEO, and woot are the C&C mods to PM.. you can PM me, radar, or cane if you need AAS forum help.

I tend to disagree. I will let an AAS mods regulate what's posted on there forum.

Now lets all get back on topic with our well wishes to Chesty and his daughters safe return.

I am also going to her school tomorrow to talk to the resource officer there and see if she just gets stupid and goes to school thinking that since they won't call me since she is there and not absent, I won't know any better as well as the teachers. I really hope I am wrong and she is just being a stupid 14 year old teenager.

Again, thanks for all of your prayers, thoughts, well wishes or whatever. I am not doing well at all. I can handle anything, war, bad guys, etc. But this is killing me.

but because Im pig headed...no one from C&C was up in the aas one aside from me and cpl other members...we all stayed well away from the disagreement in that one

If she has a cell phone get your local pd to ask the wireless carrier to ping her phone. they might require a warrant but that is no big deal to get from a juvenile magistrate. Then ping her phone. If she just ran away then she will have to answer to the judge but...if it is bad every second counts and time is ticking. I am in Tennessee and prob cant do much but pm me and I will give you my cell number and help in anyway possible.
 
For anyone who is unaware, Chesty found his daughter. He updated the thread in the AAS forum whilst at the ER where she is being checked out.
