You do realize they're dating and the kid is not his. He needs to be very careful and respectful to her wishes, single moms generally try hard as hell to keep their mommy image in place, it is to momma's advantage to have the blessings of the kid while introducing step daddy into the kids environment. Maybe there is a big difference between a two and a four year old when it comes to those things. I doubt that type of noise would even wake Abby up, and she isn't allowed to leave her room after bedtime unless it is some sort of an emergency. I assume things can change with an older kid.
