HRT and lumps in penis

I've been on Test-Cyp Therapy for several years, 100 mg. per week. I have enjoyed my T-levels rising out of the grave (76 ng/dl) to a more satifying 850 ng/dl. My strength and muscle have came back, as has my sexual desire. I have frequent sex with my voluptuous Fiance' and we don't "do it" like a lot of 56 year-olds, we both look half our age, so it is twice as fun. My worry is this: over the past 1 1/2 years, a nodule formed at the base of my penis, just a small pea-sized hard spot. The Dr. said it was from having "rough sex" or being "too wild", referring to when a guy is not careful, he can "slip out" and bend the Johnson while re-inserting. Doc said as long as it don't hurt, don't worry, but come back if it gets any bigger or begins hurting. It's now about half way around my penis-base, but it don't hurt. I have no insurance, going to see the doc is expensive. Has anyone had a similar thing happen to them? Would it be because of higher than normal T-levels for a man my age? Should I be worried? I don't know what to think right now, but I don't believe this is something to be ignored. Feedback is most welcome. JB

I think you should spend the money and see a doctor. Doesnt sound normal to me. I would be concerned.

Are they lumps/scars from tears of the skin? If so, then that has happened to me. I don't know if it's from growth stretching the skin and making it more vulnerable to tears but it does happen.

Interesting comment 500. My comment is that isnt it obvious that it is scar tissue. IDK, I am just asking. OP I would get to a specialist regardless of the cost. Better be safe IMO.

I had something similar like that,same size, the Dr Picked at it and kept pressing around until it popped it was a hardened Zit from an ingrown hair, Tell the truth it scared the crap outta me.

Zed I had one too. My Doctor told me to take a hot bath with Epsom salt. It shrunk it till there was nothing left. It took about 2 weeks, but it worked. Good luck!!

Zed 350, what you said you had makes sense to me, I had a small lump under my eyelid once, the doc told me it was a clogged hair follicle and damp, warm compresses would take it away. It took six months but it did go away. The lump obstructs my urine flow a bit but other than that, it doesn't bother me. I probably should go see the doc, will have to "save up" till after the New Year, I reckon. JB

Its best to have a 2nd opinion on tht bro. I mean wats the use, you kep worying about it. Us older athletes have to be a bit more on guard and on point with our health than some of th eyounger fellas and to be honest with you, it could be an ingrown hair or a small pimple at th base of the penis. If its painful after sex you n=have a prob, if its not then you good. If you cant have a private doc ck you then. pull your pride togtehr and go the your local E.r.. SHIIIITTTT!I hae dont it son!
