Obama classifies himself as black, see his 2010 Census controversy and explanation. Hes married to a black woman with black children. He easily looks black. The fact he has a white mother is a technicality.

What he X's he marks on a piece of paper has no consequence on what makes him black or ON GENETICS- He could've marked Asian- So your point = MOOT
Who he's married to again has no consequence on what makes HIM Black or ON GENETICS. He could have just as easily married a White/Asian/Hispanic woman. Again- your point = MOOT
What his kids look like doesnt make HIM Black. They could have just as easily came out light brown with his Genetic make up.
That fact that he has a WHITE MOTHER IS A FACT not a technicality.
Now lastly.... The fact that he "Easily Looks Black" is where most people rate his ethnic backround.
But most people are also sheltered and have not been around the world to see Filipinos/Hispanics/Asians/Indonesians/Polynesians/Indians THAT ALL HAVE "Black" hair and features but no African decent.
So just Say it: He looks black so he's all black. It's the "He doesnt look like us Syndrome".
He's Mixed no matter how you try and deny it. Embrace it... He's white like you and me.

This thread is getting derailed, but here's my 2c on pulling race into the discussion: I know a German illegal alien with blond hair and blue eyes, and also a Swede and a girl from Belgium, and they all have to obey the same immigration rules as Mexicans, Russians, or Martians. They all want to work, and are WILLING to work, but can't get legal for one reason or another.
And on the other subject, the only friends I have who voted for Obama, are lazy white hippies who own VW micro buses, and sit at Starbuck's all day, with, well let's just say, not the best of luck in getting and keeping jobs.... Three Black friends (including a Federal court judge in Los Angeles), told me they voted for Mc Cain because they were afraid Obama was not as qualified, as he has no real-life experience in the workplace or in business and finances, and felt he would worsen the economy and raise taxes (Imagine anyone thinking that!!!!!????).

I know what Kwanzaa is.
Celebrating it is quite different from RECOGNIZING it, or respecting someone elses celebration of it. If he sends out cards for Hanukkah would that be a big deal? Because he did that too......
