Advice needed for trt

I'm looking for advice on how to identify a good source for trt and hgh hrt...I'm in the dallas area if that helps. It seems like there is a number of clinics that are available, but seem pretty pricey. Would love to find a source that would accept insurance to cover part or all of the cost...any ideas on how to begin my search and/or things to steer clear of?

For most HRT cases , you will need a referral from your primary care physician, in order for your insurance to cover it ! The T tests will have to show you are in need of an HRT specialist due to a low T count! If not , then I would find one through the physician referral network in the Dallas area. Best of luck to you!

Im on trt but paying straight outta my pocket ... Its extremely hard to get insurance to cover this type of prescription trust me I have good insurance and tried everything .... My bro just got approved through his insurance BUT it was only for the Test cream so he said forget it and He just paid outta pocket and now not only has legit HG but has what he wanted to begin with .... Your gonna have to pay to play with either UGL or HG .... its just part of the game ... Hope this helps .... Later Cbodd

I would try your family doctor first. Sometines thats the easiest route.

Agreed. Those clinics are middlemen who you have to keep going back to at top dollar. Of course, a script for test requires a new script each time, so you'd have to do it through a doctor. But I never heard of insurance covering one form of a medication and not another.

From the reading I've done, the advantage of going to anti-aging doc is that they will treat patients for their symptoms vs pcp or endo will only treat patients to get their lab numbers into normal ranges. So my advice is to google TRT or anti aging in your area and go from there.

look for a good Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O. or DO) in your area. They're more into treating symptoms rather than labs and they usually take Ins. In fact you can probably find some from your ins website. Just call around and tell them exactly what you want before you make an appointment.

I tried this approach here but couldn't find one close enough to me so i went with an online HRT clinic recommended from another board.

How has that worked out?
I haven't started treatment yet but I've got my blood work and physical done. Once they get all that in I'll have my consult and go from there.

So far the guy I'm working with is very nice and responds almost immediately to emails. No douchy salesman attitude. I hope to get started by next week. The prices are fair and affordable.

It would have been nice to find a doc that takes Ins but I didn't want to continue to waste time in money in the search. It might be easier in other areas though

Im just going to step in and request that any clinic names you keep to PM's please. I dont want them to get any unneeded attention if you know what I mean.
