This thread comes up every 3-4 months or so. They get the numbers from who knows where. You can google this and find pages of thousands of posts from people. Everyone blames someone else. People are blaming Wal-Mart, Walgreens, CVS, Amazon.com, hospitals, and every place you can think of.

How do solicitors get numbers? Lists, randoms, etc. Once you know a valid area code and prefix all you have to do is start dialing from 0000-9999 and you'll get some people on the other end. I know a photography studio that cold called that way back some 20 years ago.

I don't get ANY telemarketers for my cell, however once in a great while I do get a foreign dude calling from within the states telling me my xanax prescription is ready . I tell them I don't take xanax so fuck off.
