New sarms s4 log for the mma fighter - part 2

That workout sounded so grueling, do you want to have a pizza and chug a milkshake afterward, haha.

Your right about the increased recovery time, the benefits of SARMS just keep adding up, if you still have a month left, ENJOY!! Have you considered stacking SARMSSEARCH's OSTA and S4 in the future after this cycle?

Haha, I wish I could eat pizza. I def enjoy a shake, (whey protein isolate and 40 grams of waxy maize). Then a well rounded healthy dinner, everything is natural with minimal preservatives. LOTS OF GREENS.

Would stacking osta and s4 make me gain weight? I am fighting at 145, walk around at 158. My goal would be to start making 135, so I need to start walking around 150

We ran a very simple MMA class today. 6 x 3 min rounds that consisted of drilling (punch-shots) and light offense/defense. 2 x 3 min rounds of MMA clinch w/ takedowns. 2 x 3 min rounds of "jits with hits" (or ground and pound). We kept the strikes fairly light for the clinch and ground rounds since we used 4 oz. gloves.

I stayed after and sparred 3 x 3 min MMA rounds (with the small gloves). We laid off the power and focused on speed and movement. Felt great the whole time and should have plenty of energy for tomorrow (I'll need it).

Anaerobic circuit in the morning (most likely sleds....), and grappling in the evening.

I would rely more on OSTA rather than S4, if you're avoiding weight gain. S4 has a higher anabolic ability, so you'd have to be careful and really cut hard. OSTA would allow you to retain strength at a lighter bodyweight.

Last night was very intense, but I managed to get through the entire workout and not feel completely drained. We did 9 x 5 minute rounds with 1 min rest in between. 3 rounds of kickboxing w/ clinch (big gloves - so we punch w/ more power); 3 rounds kickboxing w/ take downs (little gloves - focus on speed, if taken down then work to get back up immediately); and 3 rounds of "jits w/ hits."
I didn't feel overly drained after practice and recovered well after a good night sleep. I killed the circuit this morning, which surprised me. 3 x 5 min rounds, 1 min rest. Each round had 10 x 30 second stations:
1. Sprint 10.5 mph @ 2% incline
2. 20 lb. medicine ball slams
3. Landmine punches (15 seconds per arm)
4. TRX recline rows (feet propped up on a box)
5. Airdyne bike >70 rpm
6. Battle ropes (any variation)
7. Shoot and lift (w/ a partner)
8. Wall walks (while holding a 25 lb plate)
9. Sprint 7.5 mph @ 10% incline
10. Toe taps (a quick-feet type of drill)

After I finished the 10th station in the third round, I repeated the 6th and 10th station (30 sec each), and shadow boxed for 30 more sec. My lungs never gave out, felt some muscle fatigue, but nothing that slowed me down. Looking forward to napping (it's my day off work) and grappling at 5:30.

3 more weeks 'till showtime.....

Really? I had always heard the opposite. I haven't gained any weight while taking s4, in fact I'm exactly where I need to be. I do intend to drop to bantamweight at some point. Would you recommend OSTA instead?
I may just try it after this fight to see what happens.

I would take your tattoo out of your picture on here. Someone might stumble across it and recognize you, see that your taking gear and report it to officials. I mean it doesn't take long to go through a list of top 145lb fighters and find that same tattoo if you know what i mean haha.

I didn't think s4 was supposed to be very anabolic at all. I thought it is more androgenic. Osta is the anabolic one.

So 12 days left till showtime. These last few days always go by the slowest. This will be my last hard week of training, with Wednesday being the hardest day of the week (the tapering will start on Thursday). My schedule will go somewhat like this:
-Monday
11:00 a.m. Padwork (10 x 3 min rounds/45 sec rest) - My padholder/coach is awesome, at this point it's an MMA fight. We usually work off the jab and have some predertmined combos, but he then throws multiple counters (ranges from punches, kicks, shots,) and I have to react accordingly. Almost like sparring. It's unpredictable, and purely reflexive.
5:30 p.m. Team training (MMA)

Tuesday
11:00 a.m. Circuits (whatever torture my strength coach has in store for me)
5:30 p.m. Team training (jits)

Wednesday
11:00 a.m. 30 min of uphill walking w/ weighted vest (light workout - save energy for evening training)
5:30 Team training (MMA) - this is the "special" day. All sparring in the cage, no drilling, a fresh training partner for each round (I always ask for the best people in the room, I WANT to lose every round). It's a true test of heart, there is no way to get through this without getting completely exhausted.

Thursday
11:00 a.m. Circuit
5:30 Team training (jits)

Friday
11:00 a.m. Padwork (10 x 3 min rounds)
5:30 Open mat (not sure what I'll do yet)

I'll fill in more details if the workouts are actually worth writing about. I'll def post about Wednesday. My last Wednesday of a training camp is always the most important day for me. And it's not about winning every round either. Like I said earlier, it's about being tested. I want to lose every single round that day; I want to feel what it's like to feel beaten, and have to get back up for another round. Some people can't train this way, I've seen many team mates break. Everyone is different, no one way is better than the other, this is simply the way I prefer to train. I've always felt that if I go through hell during the camp, then it won't be so bad if that happens during the fight. Or maybe I'm a masochist.
