Excerpt: I am going to try weight watchers with a few friends. figured at worse it would be a cool place to hook up with some insecure ladies lol. but seriously the way it works is you count points with your foods and you are only allowed a certain amount of points a day, and we meet up and weigh ourselves and keep each other motivated. will this work?

    Re: weight watchers diet thoughts

weight watchers is a horrible diet because they count points just like people who count calories.

so according to weight watchers or calorie counters you can drink 100 diet pepsi's a day and that would be worth 0 points cause it has 0 calories, but eating a sweet potato or mango is worth points. how the hell does that make any sense?

we know that diet soda effects the way our bodies work

It works by restricting calories which is not the best long-term plan. You will end up slowing your metabolism and not sticking to it. Long-term you need something sustainable.

Yeah you'll need more than just counting points.
