Washington, D.C. –House Judiciary Committee Chairman Lamar Smith (R-Texas) today applauded the signing of the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA) in Japan. Started in 2006 under the Bush administration, the agreement brings together countries to establish an effective international framework to combat global counterfeiting and piracy and better protect intellectual property. The negotiating countries include: Australia, Canada, the European Union, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Morocco, New Zealand, Singapore, Switzerland and the United States of America.

That's because they are two wings of the same party; I sit back and watch them hate on each other publicly but they are just arguing about inconsequential matters of how they should oversee a burning house while not being willing to do anything to deal with putting out the fire. The Obama and Bush the younger admins are for all purposes interchangeable as big government progressives that use fear mongering and war mongering to further their political agendas.

It's sad, not funny, because I have to live here (United States) and listen to "conservatives" tell me that I'm "wasting my vote" by voting third party for federal candidates because they believe the lies and red meat fed to them by the Repubs that they are for small government. I would respond they are wasting their vote by voting for a Repub or Dem because they have the same general policies when it comes to the Federal Government running your life; Voting for a Repub or Dem for president is a vote for the same policies.
