My left shoulder has been injured for a month. I think I may have a partial tear in my rotator cuff. I get sharp pains and have limited range of motion. I havent trained chest or shoulders in a month. I am having an MRI in a few days and it looks like I will not be training my upperbody for a while. This shit sucks and its so depressing. I have never taken off more than a week and that was about year ago.
Everything was going well with training. I was making constant gains and getting stronger every week then this shit happened. I have also been off juice for about 7 months and was feeling great. This is my first major injury.
I know there are a lot of bros on here that are currently injured or have been injured. Please chime in and let me know how you deal with this shitty feeling

bro i feel you on this one in november i got hit head on by some kid luckily i was driving a dump truck but still got messed up mostly upper back so been laid up most of the winter when i can get a workout in it's with light weight that doesnt even feel like it's doing anything so i been hitting the cardio everyday hardest part is sitting around
the house all day eating junk food and postwhoring ohh ya lets not forget all that internet porn

Train your legs, use leg press machine if bar on shoulders hurts too much. Do a mess of crunches. Experiment with dumbells and see if you can find something that don't hurt. Experiments with cable pulls could be there is something there too. Don't let it get to you. Your shoulders will be back, very likely nothing too serious. And your legs will look awsome. Good luck man.

I have taken the last 3 weeks off. I was out of town for a week, then got Strep Throat. My elbows were hurting pretty good before the layoff. I'm hoping the time off helped. Can't wait to get back at it tomorrow :)

Sucks big time, as handle it.....I was pissed off for some days.....I stayed away from the gym for a couple of weeks while the Dr sent me to the rehab clinic..........I got to do more cardio on those days till I could lift again.......let your shoulder rest or could get more damage............If the weather permit get outside and walk.......

Good luck bro........

I have been destroying my legs and abs...I feel like my upperbody is shrinking even though I still weight the same. Damn dysmorphia :twirl:

I've been battling a pain that I get in my left delt/pec insertion point, it hurts like hell for about three days after chest, i have to ice it hard every day, usually by the next workout its gone, but that workout again aggrevates it  I'm going in circles, hate to take time off

bro hang in there i feel your pain i hate to take time off but sometimes theres is just no other choice just give it time and have it checked and you will be back in no time
peace

Dude just hang in there, note this happen in less then 2 months, first I pulled my hamstring the same hamstring I tore about year earlier, then I went to do incline bench press with 125lbs dumbells I try to pick that off the floor and bang pulled my back really really bad, then later I was going to bench some guy gave me a fucked up spot and bang semi tare pec. Dude I felt like I was falling apart I took about a month off and started slow again light weight everything is fine except my lower back havent been able to squat heavy in a while, but working on it, just start slow. And all things had one thing in common CREATINE I was on that shit and have heard people taking creatine gotten pulled muscles just heads up
