training while taking cortisone shots

I had a cortisone shot on my shoulder for a tendon injurie , pain was insane, obviously with the shot pain is gone and I was wondering if those injections just relief the pain but don't help with recovery and I can work out with heavy weights or my injurie will get worst.

I was doing cortisone for a little while my shoulders were to the point I couldn't even lift my arms up. I worked through it shots would take the pain away.

Probably the dumbest thing you can do, the inflammation is there for a reason masking it up and working through it is only going to make your issue worse.
