I do mine after chest and laterals so I stick with 135-155 for 8-10 on the Smith. My ego doesn't factor into the weights I use.

I can rep out 225 lbs for 8 reps....that's strict reps.

I can do 275 lbs x 4 (but they won't be strict and I'll be using my back as well)

Military press is not my strongest shoulder exercise. I can go heavier with behind the neck press. I can do 315 lbs x 3 or 4 on that.

I think realistically, my shoulders and triceps are my strongest muscle groups - relatively speaking, because I bench 405 lbs x 1 (sometimes 2) but I can narrow grip bench 315 x 2 reps

I like that approach personally. Prefatiguing decreases the weight you need to use and would also enable to push your delts further towards true MMF by saving the weaker link tris.

I really like this for women b/c we tend to have substantially smaller waists and find it harder to stabilize the core when that heavy weight is at arm's length overhead.

i don't have a rack so i have to pick it off the ground but i can 5*5 185, which is about bodyweight
i use wrist wraps and a belt
