Buy a Dell desktop unless you need a laptop. Desktops are better in the long run.

Dell are a big pile of poop get a new T61 from IBM portable and durable for your clutsy ass.

LAPTOP! I will NEVER buy a desktop again! I can do everything wit this baby, and anywhere. Why get something that is LIMITED! Desktops are mobility LIMITED. I can do everything you stated n' more from anywhere.


P.S.- Get the extended warranty! I got mine from Cir. City, and my friend that works there says she does n' at the end of the warranty she saves what she wants then breaks it. They give you a brand new one @ the same cost as your old one, but by then, I think it's 2 years, you'll be way upgraded.

Desktops are cheaper for the equivalent machine.

Keyboards / monitors / mice all easier to use. Easier / cheaper to fix / upgrade.

Don't get a laptop unless you need the portability.

Simple as that.

Portability = Laptop
Otherwise = Desktop

OR, you could get one of those cell phones that are a computer/music player/camera/knife/turkey baster/key chain/mini-fishing pole/digital can-opener/laser-guided wood chipper/first-aid kit/tazer gun/vibrator/body piercer/silent goat-wistle/whatever the FUCK else cell phones have come to do, except work properly as a CELL PHONE!
