I need a new computing device...I'm rockin' a 1952 desktop and curious if i should get a new laptop or desktop? I'm technically retarded soooooo tell me you think is the better investment and bang for buckaroo.

I got burned after buying a $2500 laptop once. The screen went out and I was basically told that the thing was then a $2500 paper weight. I only had it for a year. It left a bad taste in my mouth for laptops for a long time, but I would like to have another now.

if you buy it at a reputable store, this could not happen.
A great laptop is less than $1200 now, and most come with an extended 3 yr warrantee

I think that I bought mine at circuit city. It was back around 2001. Boy did I get smoked on that deal.

Buy a Dell desktop unless you need a laptop. Desktops are better in the long run.
