your favorite 80's song

Too many to think of, this one is the first that came to mind:

b0und (money for nothing, and your chicks for free)

for some reason i can see rnch dancing to this song in the 80s. ahahhahaahha
heh! the '70's remake by grand funk was a much superior version, IMO..even better than the 60's original version by little eva/carol king. :artist:

head over heels is a badass song. reminds me of one of my favorite film scenes of all-time.

Sheena Easton... she captured that culture perfectly...

She would have emanated a different message today, I think. Kewly thing is she, ya know how you got that paradoxical, only to stereo types thing, the complementary charm, assertive, while remaining seductive...

She's got the same thing... however, if you listen to the voice, it softens the 'words' of the lyrics... The title is Strut, right... but if you listen to her voice with the words it makes Strut more of 'sexy' thing and less of an overt, I'm hawt, power trippin, offensive type of vibe.

What I'm trying to say is, her voice makes the 'feel' of the 80s, coked out, getasmuchasyoucan, commercial boom.. well 'acceptable' and 'natural'.

Anyway, you gotta similar vibe, in this song... I see/hear/feel the similar vibe.

MyWay Eclectic Flood of 80's Sound that wreek of her eclectic Will...

I do see your Dad reminiscing to that.
Chills him out, nostalgia Blue wise.

This is a top 3 for me.
Genius in his own right and shaped culture in ways that I"m not sure I comprehend.

Ok. Before I started posting these other songs, I was trying to find Prince on youtube to post up ............. but all the sound was gone from them. Prince is really sumthin else...
I love Prince. Nobody is on this level. Hes got his own spot.
Many other good Prince songs from this time period. Purple Rain, Kiss, 1999, Take me with you.... many more. :rose:

coward of the county- kenny rogers

I know someone is gonna try to say sumthin witty with a touch of smart-ass mixed pwn at me for this...... but stfu. I don't care. I am luvin the lyrics. Karma Chameleon, bishes.

Desert loving in your eyes all the way
If I listen to your lies would you say
Im a man without conviction
Im a man who doesnt know
How to sell a contradiction

You come and go
You come and go
Karma karma karma karma karma chameleon
You come and go
You come and go
Loving would be easy if your colors were like my dream
Red, gold and green
Red, gold and green
Didnt hear your wicked words every day
And you used to be so sweet I heard you say
That my love was an addiction
When we cling our love is strong
When you go youre gone forever
You string along
You string along
Every day is like a survival
Youre my lover not my rival
Every day is like a survival
Youre my lover not my rival
Im a man without conviction
Im a man who doesnt know
How to sell a contradication
You come and go
You come and go

This one reminds me of my friend, Melissa. Hope she gets through this bs..... she's bringing on herself.

thunder road is probably my favorite song of all times. . .brings tears to my eyes sometimes. . .

That album was bad ass.

I was in like 5th grade I think when it came out.
Just started to actually dig on girls.

7th grade slow dance songs.
Hysteria was mellow song on that too.

One fucking arm and dude rawked out.
I think it was his left arm he used.
