I saw your ad on Craigslist. I sometimes peruse the singles ads because I get bored. I've also had no luck with dating since I moved to NOLA from Dallas two years ago.

I've dated, but for some reason it's hard for me to find anyone here who meets my requirements.

But before I get into questions, let me tell you about myself.

I am a 30-year-old Vietnamese-American woman. I look young for 30, so I usually date men who are a little younger or who maintain a youthful appearance. To be honest, I am a sucker for a handsome face... I don't date men who are balding or graying or who are getting fat. I htave a a nearly perfect body... if you like petite. I am not your typical designer clothes wearing, superficial Asian girl. I have quirky tattoos and a pension for boots and leather.

I guess I'm pretty intelligent. But my best personality trait is my ability to adapt and thrive in any situation. I am a public school teacher. I need a man who can keep up with my energy and stay positive when things are bleak-- because that's what I do. I'm not super cheery perky happy all the time, but I have a pet peeve of people who bitch and complain too much.

I like food (no I'm not fat). I am not a picky eater. I drink-- beer and whiskey. I act like a dude, but I am physically very feminine. I like to cook also. I am from the liveliest, non-traditional Vietnamese family in existence. If Angelina and Brad Pitt adopted a Vietnamese baby and she grew up-- that girl would probably best be me: a gorgeous, socially conscientious, wild child with an obsession with New Orleans.

So here's my question: why are you looking for a "traditional Vietnamese girl?"
