That is nothing. The building next to my condo in Yonkers starts off at over $1800 a month for a studio plus EVERYTHING. Hudson Park Apartments - Got to love NY living. Before I bought my condo I had a two bed / two bath in that building and paid $2850 a month for 1395 sgft plus my average electric bill was over $300 a month. Add cable, phone, computer, etc.... I was paying close to $4000 a month for my place. NY sucks the money right out of you!

One Bedroom/One Bath $1919/mo 1 1 707 sgft
One Bedroom/One Bath + Den $2159/mo 848sgft
Two Bedroom/Two Bath $2437/mo 2 2 1003 sgft
Two Bedroom/Two Bath $2230/mo 2 2 1062 sgft
Two Bedroom/Two Bath $2528/mo 2 2 1119 sgft

Dishwasher? Central heat & air?

Congratulations either way, getting away from the roommate situation is a major step forward.

no dishwasher but I dont make a lot of dishes anyway. I use 1 frying pan, 1 pot, 1 large plate, 1 bowl and 1 glass . lol..i do my dishes as im finishing cooking (neat freak). yes to central air and heat .

bro that doesn't seem that much
though around here you'd be living in a decent house for that amount on mortgage
don't you have a decent whip? gotta sacrifice loot from somewhere...personally i'd rather have a bigger place and no car, in your situation

I hated not having a car. this place is plenty big for me (being single and all). I will however downgrade with my next vehicle purchase.
