I used to beat the HELL out of my ex IN my sleep, seriously. I woke up at least twice because my fist was making contact with him, but there were a LOT of times I just slept sound through that he'd tell me about the next morning or even days later.

Edit: And for the record, I freely admit that the biggest mistake I ever made, in my ENTIRE life, was marrying my first husband. The only good that came out of it was my son. It was a very hard life lesson.
