You ever buy a suit online?

im too big and torqued to get a suit online
 
From what I hear Indochino blows...and you wont get it in 10 days.

Best bet is to hit up a Nordstrom Rack, buy a suit, and get it tailored.
 
I don't even own a suit.
Supposed to go to a business meeting in manhattan tomorrow.
I'm gonna go out tonite so I will just reschedule for Monday and show up in my jeans I guess IDK.

Every man needs atleast one suit. That's a fact!


You don't have to spend a ton, just get it tailored to fit and you'll look good.

Also, don't buy a black suit if you're only gonna buy one.

PD, using your pics here and on FB as a guide; I am guessing that you will have to have any suit you buy cut & tailored to your specs in order for you to look "on point". Because of your overall size, muscle mass and build, there's not not going to be an "off the rack" suit that will fit you well!

One of the best looking suits I have is also one of the least expensive suits that I own. I brought it to an "old school" tailor who worked it over to fit ME, not the in store wax dummy. The total price, including the suit and tailor, was far less than other more expensive suits tahat I own, that don't look as good on me.

Good info, it's good to know I don't need to drop a hefty dime on a designer to get the best look. We have a couple of places near by I'm going to check out today. I'm just hoping it won't take the tailor too long to get the shit put together.

Mitch, if not black what do you suggest. I wear scrubs to work so getting dressed up for me is a special occasion thing. I do have a GQ subscription though so I'm hip to what's what nyga
 
I don't even buy suits off the rack. You can pay for your trip to Thailand by going there and having your suits and shirts made.

Charcoal/Gray suits or Navy are good for pretty much any occasion.

Charcoal suit, white shirt, dark red tie. Pretty standard way to look sharp.
 
if you have a mens warehouse or taylor banks near you they can fit you up pretty quick...they have pretty reasonably priced suits....im 6'9" tall so I know they can fit most people....

I ended up going with a charcoal pin stripe Hilfiger suit I picked up at a decent price. It's being tailored right now. Pics to cum to prove my pimpness/hardness.

Yeah jos a bank is the diesel bomb, ever buy their collared shirts, THE best. Well worth the extra dough for durability and the collars never "bacon"
 
Yep collared shirts,coats,slacks all their shit is nice.And their sales are insane.
