You Are Not Safe........

ironmaster

High End Bro
Platinum
.......and secure using elite mail, apparantly. I have received 2 broken emails that address me by name......my REAL name. I have never used anything but my screen name in anything to do with elitemail, the board, or anything else on line.
There is no way this could happen unless spyware scripts are run by the mail host, or that the entire system is hacked to the extent that access to the hard drive is possible.
Yes, I wrote to the board administration......no answer.
So, be forewarned. Big Brother knows who you are.
Anyone else ever have this happen?

Ya, I had one yesterday. Two actually they had my real name in the message portion and the addy was something @syntax error. Kinda freaked me for a minute....but I am here for entertainment purposes anyway so in the famous words of a true poet..."What me worry?"

Shit, I know I get a lot of virus type mail in my elite account. They need to get this fixed ASAP.

This is to big of a coincidence not to be related. I received two e-mails 6 min apart yesterday using my real name. My e-mail address WAS listed(non secure) in my profile section. They just went DEAR ****** and that was it.NON TRACEABLE. whoever is doing this is hacking the system and is no rookie!!!

Yes, I read Orwell's 1984.
Barbell, billy,.....this is exactly my situation. This is a serious breach of the system......looks like a LE hack to me. George's tech guys need to get on this or I will be abandoning the system forthwith.

the only thing to worry about is if you have done something to worry about!!!! in all of our cases we dont have to worry cause im sure we are all angles.........what did the e-mails say iron?

i've never used elite mail for this very reason. it seems too easy for "them" to target you.

thanks for the heads up though. i think everybody should think about changing all email accounts. . . . or at the very least rotate them every so often.

same thing happpend to me on my elite mail , and my personal mail . no return addy and it said the same thing dear Mr. first name , middle int, and last name . I have never connected my real name and elite info , ever . I was very hesitant to post any info on it , due to someone knowing it worked . I'm pretty pissed about it !

I had the same damn thing happen...2 blank emails except for my fucking name (first and last)...Time to open a cyber rights acct...

maybe elite is trying to setup some sort of mass mailing system which uses your real name from when you signed up for platinum.

If so, George's ass..............

I get the same shit all the time.
Yesterday I received an email from Drveejay from elite but the email addy was masked to look like it was coming from him.
The reall address was from a person with a verizon.net account.
So I guess there is a way to send an email and to show up that its coming from a different person.
Most of the times are weird emails with an attached virus.
Anyone knows what Im talking about?

I feel left out. I didn't get one....

Is it possible you all have someone in common who would be able to connect your email address to your name?

this get solved? .. that's a serious issue. legal or not legal.. private encrypted mail.. is private encrypted mail. ... privacy is a major issue.. .. regardless of whether or not your doing anything wrong.

a breach in security should be resolved. so any info would be great... is there a way that a problem could have happened through some sort of "administration" panel access setup by elite?

The biggest concern about this is the fact that, this is a hushmail private label encryption... and if it is broken here, what's to say that it can't be broken through cyber-rights.net? (which is ANOTHER hushmail private label email account).. or hush itself?

Out of curiousity, how many of you are PLATINUM members??

Shit, I am...That makes very good sense. How else would they know everyone's names? they had my first name as I sign it but it's not my legal first name. Also, if they were to check the internet dial up, I'm not the one it's billed to...

i think you hit something, I have 2 elite accts but only one is under the platinum and that's the only one that recieved these emails...

Well if this keeps up i'll let my guy know he has a postal box on the way with all the info needed, no need in this shit!!!!And i;ll probably feel better also thanks for the heads up Ironmaster!!! RADAR

anonymous emails are VERY easy to send.

Now that you mention it I received an email masked from your elitefitness acount. [email protected]
It said, heres a pic of my girlfried or some shit like that and had a virus attached.
When I clicked show actual message I could tell it wasnt from you.
But on the From section it shows up as your email addy.

the from section can be filled with anything. I can easily send you an email from [email protected] if i wanted. the best thing to do is check the email headers and make sure they are from the same domain as the email address.

I see.
So the From section can be changed to anything.
That makes more sense now. Thanks.

yes, i'm very surprised george has not stepped up and explained all of this? ? ? ? how many different threads have been posted on this subject? ? ? it would appear he has no idea either.

this needs to get resolved. first the artical, then all the busts, now the email is getting hacked into. seems one would lead to the next. hell, what better way to figure out what's going on and who's who than hacking into the elite webmail system.

george, feel free to put our minds at ease. . . . . if you can. . . .

A worm farming email address' off a site, didn't even neccessarily have to be a person, this is one of many easy techniques to dupe people into activating an attatchment they shouldn't.

Here is some more weird info:

I have my elite account set up to send another of my email addresses and email when my elite account gets an email.

Neither one of these emails set off the trigger that makes my email send a notification to my other account.

I'm not very fucking happy at all about this situation, I've left George a couple messages regarding this issue. He has responded to me every time I've had a concern in the past so I'm hoping he does this time also.

I had the exact same thing happen to me as well, only mine was sent with the name of the person who is paying for my internet service, not my name.

I also got the following email in my personal email address, the one provided by my ISP, an outlook express run addy. It said:

You have a little worm!

Don

and was listed as "From Don Korte" "[email protected]"

The same name who pays for my internet is the name on this email address.

Does this sound like something the feds would do?I am talking about letting people know they know their real names.I would think if the feds were hacking into accounts and snooping they would be sneeky about it,rather than letting you know about it.It sounds like someone is just playing games,at least I hope.

There here.........and watching!!! Match handles to real names and home addy's to add to the database as is info. from past and present busts from people that spill when scared. Who's next???

I believe it is an internal FUCK UP with the elite system, and more than likely a worm that hit an elite users email which caused the fuck up. Reason being:

As I stated before, when I receive email to my elite account, it automatically sends me a message to another email account, this is not the case with these 2 emails. Maybe I'm just thinking positive, but I'm guessing that it is just a flaw with the elite system and a virus that started it off.

Of all the people that this has happened to, is there any of you that are not platinum members or that have not purchased anything off this website where you would have to give out your real name for credit card purposes?

Is the name that popped up on the email just first and last name, or is it how your name shows up on your credit card?

There are alot of different possibilities for how and why this happened, I think it is just a security flaw in elites email system that is supposed to be "SECURE", and that it is not law enforcement just getting our first and last names. Do you know how many David Green's their are....if the feds were to do something like this they would want more info than just our names, Elitefitness would have to be made aware of the invasion of privacy (there was a statement on the host servers page saying something about they reserve the right to pass necessary info to law enforcement agencies incase of illegal action taking place) , this is not a terrorist situation or national security therefor they have to have a warrant to take information off each of our computers, or the servers that run the mail system.

I tell you what, IF elite fitness knows about this and is choosing to keep their mouth shut, I pity all of them in the future, what comes around goes around, and I believe Karma really does work even if not on this site.

But then again, I think it's just the lack of not taking the money that is made off all these fucking advertisements and hiring someone that knows how to run an email server and actually make it "SECURE".

Just my 2 pist off cents,

Jdabs

I think you guys are right. This is a platinum problem (and perhaps a MQ purchaser problem). If your real name was hacked, so is your credit card, passwords, bank info, checking etc. Which means whenever you pay Elite for anything, you are at risk! Not very good for business, there, George. And what worse possible place for a fuck up could there be!!!! Many of us HAVE OUR BALLS HANGING OUT HERE. I just don't fucking believe this shit.
I received another one of these emails as soon as I posted this thread. If we catch the fuck behind this, whoever it is, I will personally stomp a mud-hole in his ass.
Time for a response from the administrator. I predict this will be costly if an adequate explanation and fix isn't presented quickly.
No one should provide personal info or credit card/bank info to this site in the meantime. I love you george, you know I do....but this is bad.
Where's that damn "code" guy when you need him.......over on Chat?

If everyone is getting the same email then its probably virus activity. If its not actually coming from an elite account but just shows the address as an elite then it isn't coming from the elite server being hacked; its coming from another email server that somebody is using for anonymous email.

Hello all,

There is no need to worry, we have received no evidence that the security of our email has been compromised.

Forging the "reply to" address is a very easy thing to do -- if you wanted to, you could forge the "reply to" for anyone -- [email protected] -- for example. This is one of the easiest tricks in the book -- and one of the oldest.

There is no association between Platinum accounts and your email accounts -- unless you used your elitefitness.com email when you registered. Further, if you upgrade your email account for more storage, we would know who owns a particular account, but we would still have no knowledge of the contents of your email. I do not see why this would be a concern.

We have members email us all the time asking us to provide them with their password because they lost it. We cannot and never could. If we had access to your password, we could access your email -- this is the last thing in the world that any of us would want.

There is no security danger from using elitefitness.com email. The real danger is managing your online affairs without using an elitefitness.com email account. Aside from the fact that we the impenetrable encryption, unlike ziplip.com, the elitefitness.com mail servers are located overseas -- making them impervious to subpoena.

If you would post the messages that you received including the entire message headers, I would appreciate it. Then I can comment on them. Please do not post your name.

I appreciate your concern and am eager to look into this with you.

caliberdesign.com designs and manages this site along with our ISP. It looks like one of our systems is trying to send you a message. Many of the features of this site send out email:

For example:
When your mailbox is full -- we send out messages.
When you subscribe to a thread, we send out an email.
When you purchase something, we send out an email.
When you join our affiliate program.
When you get a free website here.
When you use our dating service.

I apologize if one of our systems here sent you a message in error, but I do not see how this is a security issue. Please help me understand your logic.

I could go on and on

George.......forget that johnboy stuff.....that isn't the problem, has nothing to do with anything for christ sakes.
We are getting Elitemail email that addresses us by our real name. Like "Dear **** ****** and then a blank message box. I have never used anything but my screen name at elite except when BUYING something from you. This could only come from your database of people that pay for things like platinum and use credit cards, checks, etc.
You've been hacked, or worse!
Would you like me to forward a copy? It'll show my correct name.

Bumping....what say yee to that, Sir George?
Happy to send you a copy for analysis. You already know who I am.

Another question, and comment.

This site is run on about eight servers. The encrypted mail servers are not run by us (hushmail.com runs them) and are not even in the USA.

Is everyone getting strange messages from [email protected]? This would indicate that our WEB server is trying to send a message out, but is doing something wrong or encountering a problem. If you will post the messages, we can get on it and try to fix the issue, but our sending you mail would not indicate that there is a security issue with the elitefitness.com email accounts.

Please accept my apologies for my delay in responding.

Ok, please post the email and you must include the Message Headers.

You are supposed to get a weekly email from us -- this is our free e-Magazine -- Elite Fitness News. It has all kinds of hardcore bodybuilding information in it. The message should be personalized and it should say something like Dear YourFirstName, For example, you should have gotten a message about ALA recently.

It appears that your messages may be missing the actual body of the message. If we send you a weekly site update, how does that indicate that there is a security issue?

I appreciate your bringing this to my attention, because I want to get to the bottom of this.

George, I'm not explaining myself well, apparently. I am getting email to [email protected]. In the body of the message is the greeting "DEAR **** ******. My real name! So however this is happening, our screen name and real identity are known to the sender. Elitemail can not be secure if this is happening.
I'm forwarding a copy to you.

I agree Bro and George this is the question that really needs answering

Wrongun!

Ok, thanks, I understand what is going on now. I appreciate WizDumb and you sending me the messages.

The server that sends out the weekly newsletter had a problem. It is supposed to send a message from [email protected] and the message is supposed to say:

Dear George (for example)

Here is an article on ALA ...

I think there are two problems with what is being sent. It should look like it is coming from [email protected] -- because it is coming from us. And it should obviously have the message in the email. It looks like you are not getting the message part.

No wonder you were confused and upset -- I know I would be too. I will have our tech person get right on it so that your Elite Fitness News looks like it should.

Does this make sense?

The Terminator said:
I had an email returned undeliverable yesterday that was supposedly sent from my account to an insecure account (which I don't do). How this was sent is a mystery to me???

I dont have any info on ironmasters claims, but it sure makes you wonder.

As far as you guys getting returned mail, this has been covered here weekly for months now. There is a virus going around called the "klez" and when it infects a system it sends itself out to any mail addy it can find on the system that is infected. The difference between the klez and most that do this is the klez spoofs the return addy (ie "From" field) in the mail making the receiveing system think its comming from someplace it is not. Often times the addy used as the "from" address is a random addy pulled of the infected system.

Now to give a better example since so many people seem to not understand, lets say I have john doe and jane doe in my address book and I get infected with the klez. The klez will take control of my mail client and send itself out to everyone in your address book so it sends itself to jane doe, however it replaces the "from" address that would normally be me with the address of john doe. Now if for some reason the mail could not be delivered to jane doe, the mail server would bounce the mail or send an error to john doe because the "from" field was spoofed to make it look like it came from him, even though it really came from me.

These are not problems with elite mail or any mail host at all, they are simply routing mail as the mail header states. The real culprit is the klez virus.

I for one highly recommend every head over to symantecs web site and run the online virus checker. Here is a link.

http://security1.norton.com/ssc/home.asp?j=1&langid=us&venid=sym&plfid=20&pkj=UOEEOQCCXFXEDECTVRH

Select the "scan for virus" link in center of the page.

WTF... I am getting those emails on a daily basis.... [email protected] - the body of the message is always the same.. "hello REAL NAME"

i'd like to pound the fucks sending these.

Yes, I have gotten a few of them with my real name, but not to my elitemail account, they are going to a different mail addy I use.

These are definitely from someone else. Did this one address you by your real name? This looks like a cyber-rights addy so I wouldn't imagine it did.

johnboy said:

George, the reason that I lost my hushmail account is because my mail was being read all the time and it was known that the employee's had access to read the email. Aparently they are reading our email as well because I have received new emails that were opened and read and I know I damn sure didn't read them. I did refresh the page and it was still the same. This is the EXACT same thing that was happening with hushmail. I read on the internet that hushmail is one of the least secure services because email is read and easily read and if something is found they take it to authorities.

Johnboy,

I appreciate your concern, but I think your fears may be misplaced.

There is a known bug where on occasion unread mail does not properly get displayed in bold font -- This should be fixed soon.

I know the people at Hush and trust them implicitly. Hush is based in Ireland and the Caribbean and have no interest in US authorities.

They have I believe a million users, so it would be impossible for them to read your email if they were able to.

They publish the source code for their email service -- and they encourage any programmer in the world to try to crack it.

Phil Zimmermann is the Chief Cryptography Officer for Hush Communications. Zimmerman is the grandfather of cryptography. He created Pretty Good Privacy (PGP), the first encrypted email program. For three years, he was the subject of a criminal investigation on the grounds that publishing PGP as freeware violated the US export restrictions on cryptographic technology. Thanks in part to the free marketing he obtained, PGP quickly became the most widely used email encryption method in the world. Zimmermann stated, "For the past decade PGP has been the gold standard for email encryption but we've always had trouble expanding beyond the power users because of ease of use problems. The OpenPGP standard will be well served by Hush's fresh approach to ease of use and its roaming capability. Further, Hush has a consistent track record of publishing its source code."

Lastly, think about it for a minute. The last thing either hush or I would want is to know what is in your email accounts. If we did, we could be subpoenaed. When Elite was subpoenaed in the Perrin DNP ordeal, I was pleased that I could say with 100% honesty that I have no idea what is in DNPguru's email account, or Perrin's email account.

Further, this looks like spam that got messed up. I do not see that this would indicate a security problem.

This is the very same headers I am getting.... WTF.... I am platnium... but it is always sent to my yahoo account. I guess it would be a matter of which email addy Elite has that determines if I believe that the hack originated from elite's info about me.

Technically no; and I work in the technical field. If our name is tied to our account then I don't want to have a platinum membership. Non-platinum members can only be traced by their ip address. Platinum can be traced to name, address, and credit card #.... A LOT more info then most people want available.

I have no need to worry because I don't do anything illegal...however from what the media says "IT BEING BULLSHIT" the feds don't play by the rules...they hack the server get the info needed then pop somebody for say...selling or buying GHB via the net. They don't present the email evidence in court because they don't have to...1. They caught the package 2.The person signed for and opened the package before they make the arrest and 3. They most likely will subpoena the money transfer records i.e.: Western Union, Pay Pal etc. And they know how you paid because they hacked your email and read it.

I personally believe the emails to elite members with their real name are either 1. A hacker fucking with people or 2. The feds telling us that they are watching our every move.

Johnboy,

The only reason your elitefitness.com email address is associated with your customer information for your purchases with us is because you used this email address when you paid for your platinum membership. You can change it easily. Just click "Reports and Consultations" at the top of the page and edit your customer email address.

C-Steele,

This is not a hack or a security issue. We were trying to send you an informational article like the one on ALA or BusinessWeek. We had a systems issue sending you a message -- this does not mean there is a problem with your Yahoo account.

That makes me less comfortable then I was. The last time somebody put something out there and dared it to be cracked "said it couldn't be done" was with DVD's. Hackers cracked it in 6 months.

Another example single des encryption first came out being known as "encryption that can't be cracked"; hackers cracked it within a year. Given as far as I know the 2048 triple des encryption has not been cracked its still streamed across the internet via http or https at 128 bit encryption which was cracked 3 months after it was released.

Hush is not claiming their system is perfect. They are saying, let's get all the greatest computer minds in the world together and take a look at what we built. If you can improve it, let us know and we will incorporate the change. If the code is free, you can at least trust that it is what it is -- which you cannot do when the code is closed.

Also, hush creates a 2048 tunnel all the way from one elite or hush user to another.

Hackers, being a 16 year old kid, and actually he spent only a week on it. The industry is full of sheep turds, he said it was terrible encryption.

The Elite mail server took a dump just like George said, I dont see any ties to any virii etc that anyone else is getting, although the real name is strange, but there are so many ways they could have gotten that etc

I'm not worried, shows over! :)

I don't use those email systems, the show is over for me dude, didn't say anything about your insecurities.

That's pretty scary.

I don't know much about the inner workings of the internet but it occurs to me that if you are a platinum member here then you mostly likely paid for it with a credit card.To allow you to do this you must use your real name and address on the application form.

This is the reason i haven't gone paltinum here though i would like to,i would be concerned about my details getting into the wrong hands and any posts that i may make or emails that i may send could eventually be tracked back to my real identity.

Ultimately nothing is immune, if you want to be safe then dont open your yap about what you do that might not be koshier, i.e. chatting on boards like we are all doing right now. :)

BigHead,

We need and appreciate our members' support. Our Platinum members' generosity enables us to stay online.

Supporting the site with a Platinum membership has nothing to do with tracking your posts back to your real identity.

Unfortunately, unlike elitefitness.com email where you have a strong degree of privacy and security, anything you post here or on any other board can already be easily tracked back to your real identity -- Platinum or not.

Same here! But it's being sent to my hushmail account. And the email is not causing hush to send an email notification to my yahoo account.

I have been not been a Platimum member for two months.

As I have stated before, these boards are routinely examined and frequented by Feds. Your emails, and mine, are read from time to time. I know for a fact that sweeps have been done on my emails.

Why do you think people sometimes complain about the number of posts they have being diminished?

Just remember that we are all under a certain amount of observation, adn that there are certain 'buzzwords' that will prompt a more thorough review of your correspondences, be they email or via the boards.

does this have anything to do with the mail system being down yesterday and today? after the login i get a blank page instead of asking me for a password

Glad you found it, if left unchecked it can wreak havoc on your system. It would be a good idea to check your system occasionally with that online utility since the klez can be very persistant and hard to get rid of. Also, make sure you get the latest security updates for outlook or outlook express if you use them. The Klez exploits security holes in them. Additionally make sure if your using IE (Internet explorer) that you have the Service pack 2 if your using 5.5. I would highly recommend just upgrading to 6 though. The klez also seeks out web servers and infects web pages with java script that can infect you if your browser allows it.

How in the hell do you figure this? My platinum member ship was paid for by MY creditcard to allow MY username to have platinum access, THEREFOR has a lot to do with the ability of my posts being tracked back to my real identity.

Another thing, I use a server that has a very very secure network, and does not have ANY one persons name attached to the computer as a user nor is it supposed to. I also never gave YOU or any other person attached to this company my REAL name, except to sign up for platinum for all these GREAT benefits, which never seem to be resolved, and or never appear.

(Gotta love all the ads that pop up on your screen if you are typing an email for 4-5 minutes which boots you back to non-platinum status)

Needless to say, maybe I'm being a little bitchy, and whining about something that isn't as serious as it seems to me and many others but don't try to blow smoke up my ass saying there isn't a security issue, especially when you say yourself that there are many ways this can take place, that seems like you still don't know what happened.

All I want to know is how YOUR email system found out MY real name being that I used this account on a computer that isn't affiliated with my name, just a number, and that the only person/company that has ever recieved my real info from this email account is you.

Still not happy with skating around the issue, I want a real, specific answer. IF it was your email servers sending out one of your Great body building articles, like the one about ala, then YOUR servers should have a copy with a date and time stamp to match all the fucking emails that have shown up with our real names. Please if you can, verify this.

Since it takes about a day for Platinum to take hold, I would assume this is approved by hand and they are not linked or included in the same database.

One could hope.....

Whether or not they are linked or included on the same database makes absolutely no difference if the servers that include both databases are compromised.

However I believe the above statement is not correct simply because, Platinum is not a LIFETIME membership. It is a month to month, and unless you can tell me that someone at elitefitness is checking on accounts that are expiring ever day to try to get people to resign up and doing it all by hand then I'm going to have to say that my username and platinum access is directly linked. I mean think about it, many online subscriptions take a day or so to activate, however when your account expires or gets close to, you sure as hell get an email asking you if you want to reapply and many of them ask you if you want to use the same funding methods as in the past.

Jdabs

P.S. Fonz, thanks for your honesty even if it isn't what many wanted to hear.

Well, I've been away all day and come back to find no plausible explanation to the problem. (except fonz's honest answer). I believe jdabs is 100% correct. I have never associated my real name and my elite screen name EXCEPT when paying elite by credit card. And, I used some initials when I payed just to see if I got any advertising that way. No ads, just this.
I'll send George another copy of the offending email just to be sure he understands. Bottom line.......somewhere in the system my name and moniker have been put together, and glitch or hack.....it needs fixed!

Bumping cause I'd like an explanation. Straight up folks own up to it if there is a problem.......so we can protect ourselves. Hey, shit goes wrong with technology.....I understand that, but nobody likes getting stonewalled.

I wonder if elitefitness has ever has a network, host and application security assessment performed by a major (and reputable - not a small mom and pop shop) security provider? Would be nifty if they did a comprehensive check - and posted it in a secure location for paying people (platinum) to see (with the security sensitve areas blacked out maybe - IP addy's system names etc etc). They could also perform periodic scans after the initial scan and provide them as proof too - this would be a GREAT value add in my opinion.

I see whats going on here. It amazes me as well. Ironmaster you guys are saying, the only time you have used your real name, or any form of a real name, is when signing up for platinum access, so when you get an email with your real name, IT MUST HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH YOU SIGNING UP FOR PLATINUM. Which means that if they can access your real name that you registered for platinm wiht, then they must be able to see all the other info to? Credit cards and they like? George that sounds like to me that maybe EFmail hasnt been hacked, but your records for everyone's platinum signup has been cracked in to. And in all honesty George, you may be working on the problem, but from what your posting here, it seems like your skating around the issue. I havent seen you answer the question ironmaster posted yet without fluffing it a little.

Why don't someone post a poll to see what kind of srtange e-mails people are getting on their elite mail, platinum and non platinum.I think that would help clear alot of things up.I would post a poll but I am not sure I know how,I have never tried before.I am an idiot when it comes to computers.:)

OK why then, seeing that I am NOT platinum, nor have Ever ordered anything in affiliation with this site(credit card) WHY WHY WHY do the e-mails i get have the real name of the person who pays for my internet service in them???this would have to be hacked and then some sort of trace and all that shit.!!!???   I am about done with this bullshit!!!!!!!!

Maybe that is one of your friends that you know that just happened to change emails due to all this shit, and just didn't sign the email. Maybe you just gave one of your friends new email address's to all the feds reading this sight.

MAYBE YOU SHOULD HAVE TALKED TO A MOD BEFORE POSTING A SOURCE POST!!! If you did, cool. IF you didn't you should have, now please delete this post, and talk to a mod. It may be another scammer like that liquidex fuck, so yes it needs to be known but it needs to go through a mod.

Not trying to flame you bro, but one this thread isn't for this post, and this post shouldn't have been made without talking to a mod int he first place.

Just my 2 cents,

download a program called Visualroute
Have everyone check the IP from the e-mails and see if they are somming from a common source.

i'm surprised that so many ppl actaully used a credit card to pay for their elite membership/supp's. even for those who are not doing anything illeagal. just seems like your name and info would go into some data base assocaited with this kind of "underground world"

i still plan on joining elite (platinum) but will be using a MO to pay for the service. not that i have anything to hide, but i hate having my info sold, given out, or just a glitch that gives it out to god only knows who.

and in a plug for george, paying for platinum services also helps to pay to fix problems that can occure within the elite systems to make it a safer place for us to discuss these topics. (that sentence didn't flow too well, but you get the point) :)

i would like to hear george's comments on ironmasters last question though. . . .

I'll just say it like this Undertaker, I'm sorry you are having the same problems as everybody "EVERYBODY" else on this board that uses elite's "SECURE" email. YOUR HOTMAIL isn't only in ELITES databases, it's in Microsofts also. So theoretically while your bullshitting, your hotmail account could have been hacked then someone sent ELITE a worm virus from your hotmail which infected all of the elitefitness members who now have their real names all over the place.....Ok well maybe I'm reaching but that is not the point, the point is SOURCE POSTING is a NO NO, and SCAMMER POSTING is to go through a MOD PERIOD. No, that fucking cum dumpster trying to scam you into buy dbol or whatever it was isn't my friend, however there are rules your supposed to use while using this board during certain situations, Source checks, Scammer postings.

This guy is probably a scammer if he is emailing you at an account you didnt' give out, but what if somehow you happen to have an email address very similar to someone he was trying to get ahold of IE: Theundertaker1@hotmail and yours is Theundertaker@hotmail and accidently the 1 was left off the end. Guess what happens, email is now infront of EVERY FED reading these boards and all the people on here is now thinking he is a scammer.

You know what...he probably is a scammer, like 95%, but what if the 5% chance one day happened to be the same 5% chance that ends up fucking you over on a simple accident that you made which had no bad intentions but obviously was taken wrong or sent to the wrong person?

I hope you see my point, and trust me on this, I'm not very fucking happy about all this email shit myself, I just had to re-write this post 4 times because I felt that I was flaming you everytime I wrote it and that is not my intention, I simply want to make sure that some bro doesn't get his name posted all over the boards either as a source or a scammer simply because he emailed someone and misspelled the email by one letter on accident.

I sent some dude with Johnboy@elite and email one time then realized that it was Johnboy1@elite. I'm glad that neither Johnboy or I do anything nor talk about anything that may be interpretted as been a little in the grey area so the email was pretty much innocent, I was simply asking for pictures of Bouncers wife since I lost my copies, but you get the point...I hope.

P.S. George I would like to see answers to Ironfist and my questions if possible.

Thanks
