do you have a place where you are like a "regular"....like a bar or club or restaurant?

not just that you go there a lot, but the employees recognize you/know you/ give you free stuff/converse w/you....

i was thinking about it today and i'm a regular at 2 places....

the voodoo room club downtown....i know all the bouncers and bartenders and most of the bands and can usually get free stuff and get away with what i want which is awesome

and the jenks downtown cafe (little whole in the wall/ma and pa restaurant)....i love that i can go in there and within 5 minutes, a 60 year old waitress will not only have my favorite cheeseburger ready for me, but my side salad with ranch minus the tomatoes and croutons and will be ready to talk to me about my love life....lol

Used to be when I was working. When ever I walked i to the place they would`nt ask what I wanted they`d ask "how many?" lol Then "Soup or salad?" lol We got the SAME shit every day.

Even when we ordered by phone, the conversation would be a couple of grunts and "uhs".. "ok" ...bye". Ahh the good ole days.

Just the gym. The counter girls (well 3 of them at least who are now gone) used to give me free protien drinks. Everyone who works there, except the newbs nods or says hi to me. Clubs... nope, unless i know the doormen from the gym.

My sister on the other han is on the vip list at several places in Houston (Belveders..spelling? and several other places I can't remember) and her and anyone with her get free stuff. Its nice when I go out with her. LoL
