Clean out your P.M.'s borly......

But to answer your question...

An 02' S4 with 46k miles will bring $23,000 through auction.

An 01' with 48k miles = $20,125

A 2000 with 52K miles = $19,211

The wholesale numbers on S4's are cunched......... supply vs. demand.

Your best bet is Chicago for finding one cheap. :)

Orb

I know this is a "trade secret" but are the info sources or databases you use to calculate this stuff?

There must be databases kept by the industry as a means of forecasting and valuing inventory.

PM's work too bor. Hope things are good.

Things are good.......Mekanniks P.M.'s are full........

Anywho....

Manheim Online is the benchmark for establishing wholesale values. You have to be a dealer to subscribe. The "black book" has little to no value at all in measuring what a car is worth. The real trade secret is knowing your market place. For example, I know in St. Louis, Mustangs, Eclipse's, etc... sell for above market value....so what may not be worth average market report in Chicago, is worth a premium over in St. Louis.

How did everything fare in West Palm for you after the hurricane??

Manheim auction is almost literally in my backyard. My buddy hauls out of there and is looking to get his dealers license. I may have to keep that in mind.

Thanks - just cleaned the box out. Will douche again later, after I get off of mdd's momma.

Appreciate the insight. Chi-town is only 9 hours away?!!?? I will shoot a PM.

Oh - and mdd. You suck. Big hairy balls. And little unshaven ones too from I what I have heard. How is your boy Kellen doing anyways?

Bro, I hear this- I used to work for an uncle taking cars/trucks back and forth between Iowa/Chicago for this reason...

That said - what could I expect to get for an 01 blazer 2dr LS (non 4x4) with automatic w/51K miles?

I am here in AZ - is there anywhere you know of where it would be worth more? (know peeps in chicago and stl particularly)

It should retail for $7450.00 easy enough....$6900.00 for sure. That being said I'll buy it for $4500.00...... ;)

Being 2wd it'll bring more in Arizona than it will here or Chicago. :)

yeah, knowing the market is the trick I guess.

The condos are OK - one of them is behind schedule for reasons unrelated to the storm, the other is right on time, should be available by late jan 2005, the other by April.

How's your place down there?

Glad to hear all is well. Other than some landscaping issues and beach erosion......everything is fine. The power was out in my building for almost a week, but I wasn't there so it didn't matter. My parents have over $150,000 in landscape and beach damage. :worried: ...but isnsurance covers it. :)
