Yet another Beast/Kata/RS-Transderm Cycle with Log

Hey gang,

I started a new cycle last Friday (12/16/11). I figured I would do this before Beast and Katanadrol became illegal. :mad:

It has been 20 years since I cycled, and back then it was Test Cyp and Sus 250. I was 21, didn't do sh_t for PCT and let nature take its course.

I have been in and out of the gym my whole life, but really returned permanently about 2 years ago.

Stats:

44 yrs old
6'3, 235 lbs
18% BF (although I need to caliper this for the log)

Goal:

Size, strength and muscle density increase with a decrease in BF. I would like to see my PRs on bench, squat, DL, Pendley rows and upright presses all increase. After PCT, I will cut naturally, but I may also consider bridging and doing Halodrol + transderm. (I haven't decided).

Cycle:
Beast 30/30/30/30
Kata 250/250/250/250
Transderm 5 pumps daily for 4 weeks

PCT:
Unleashed + PostCycle + Forma

Supplements:
N2Guard 7 throughout the day
Fish oil
Glucosamine/Condroiten
Vit D3
Vit C
GNC BCAAs
N2BM Gear (if it ever gets delivered)
ZMA
CLA
L-Carnitine

My daily chow is approx 4500 calories, across 5-6 meals. 50% protein, 30% carbs and 20% fat. Protein is whole eggs, lean beef, turkey, chicken breast, tuna. Complex carbs are steel cut oats, quinoa, long grain wild rice or brown rice, and sweet potatoes. Fats are fish oil, flax seed, almonds, olive oil, avocado. I eat green leafy veggies with every meal except breakfast, where I have a banana in my oatmeal (2 cups).

I do have a postworkout shake, I used GNC anabolic whey. It has very little carbs, so I add raw oatmeal for carbs.

I am sucking down 1.5Gal of filtered water/day and drink 1-2 cups of brewed green tea. All in all, rather boring protocol.

I have a preworkout drink (NO + caffeine, don't recall name). I drink Biotest Surge for my periworkout drink (BCAAs+simple sugars) and right after workout I suck down GNC Anabolic Whey recovery.

I am doing MadCow 5x5s am in the second week. My working sets are:

Squats: 260x5
Bench: 250x5
Rows: 205x5
Deads: 300
OH Press: 140

Not particularly strong but am really focusing on good form.

I am 4 days into this cycle. Initial impressions:

1. A shit load of capsules to track, especially the N2Guard and Kata
2. Transderm 5 pumps is a very small amount. Apply quickly as it dries fast.
3. I get pain in my kidneys in the AM when I first pop Beast/Kata/HCGenerate. I thought it was a coincidence, it's not. I don't get the pain for the rest of the day. Anyone else get that? Strange.
4. I do seem a bit more agitated already.
5. My sack is tighter, and my wife made a comment about it. I told her it's all the food I am taking in plus supplements. It's also cold in the house :rolleyes:
6. I do feel a slight pump already but don't know if that is MadCow's, diet, the beast/kata or a combination.
7. I am eating a lot more than I am used to, and having to force down the carbs, which until now have been restricted to just first meal post-workout. I know I have to feed the beast throughout the day.
8. I am pissing like a racehorse 2x night.
9. I am up 5 lbs (water no doubt) from when I started.

Questions:

1. When should I expect to start seeing increases in strength and/or size?
2. Will I continue to see size/strength gains in PCT?
3. On cycle, will I see some muscle density/vascularity or am I going to look like Capt. Dianabol?

I welcome any comments -- good/bad/ugly!

I will post before/after's and maybe even a few in betweens in later posts. I don't plan on hitting this log daily, but definitely a few times a week.

Also, I want to thank Needto, Radar and Nelson Montana for the initial guidance. I really appreciate it gents!

Today was rest day. Hitting gym tomorrow and I am already psyched up!

Ate well today and sucked down a lot of water. I weighed in at 239. I may dial my carbs back slightly.

I am also considering adding fasted cardio on non workout days because I feel tired at times.

I don't yet feel that "on" feeling but has only been 5 days.

Ate like a horse this AM. Did my preworkout ritual and jumped on my 5x5s. It took everything in my body not to push thru my PR's but go with the scheduled weights. I was pushed for time on the back end of my workout and cut my rest by half on my deadlifts and still had a lotta gas in the tank. I want to workout later tonight, so I may do some abs and low intensity cardio.

I weighed in at 238 this AM. My daughter said the lumps on my shoulders look bigger. I hadn't noticed my traps but my quads are blowing out my pants. My arms feel like I am always doing farmer carries.

My libido is sick. My wife told me I am slamming her like a truck. And she likes it. Lol

PFFFFT well no wounder your slamming the wife like a truck bro.. Dude Its not even a question anymore if hcgenerate works or not its a FACT.. I have had dudes trying to get their girls knocked up for up to 7 years, seen a endo , went to fertility doctor and everything with no help. Take a few weeks of Hcgenerate and Boom having a child. I even had one dude that knocked his girl up with twins.

Let me tell you a story that just happen to me the other day. Ok so everyone knows I am out of stock of hcgenerate right now. This dude called me 3 maybe 4 days ago asking about hcgenerate and if I had any of my own stash., He said he had not had a sex drive for years and could not even Viagra was not working for him but a friend of his told him about hcgenerate and he used it. The hcgenerate gave him his sex drive back and he was out...

THIS GUY BEGGED AND PLEADED for another bottle. He litterally started to snivel a bit and Ya I think he was crying. I felt so damn bad I had him hold on the phone well I scoured my place for a bottle. It got to the point that I just sold him the half a bottle I had for my self because I felt so bad for him and I did not want him to have to go without.....I mean he was a older dude think he said like 65 or something... Its shit like that that makes me feel man I can't let this company fail because wtf is that guy going to do if one day he finds out hcgenerate is gone?? The product is a god sent for some people.

I need to get the product in Mens Health or something...
 
Lol that story is classic!

It's 4AM, and I woke up to take a piss. I stumbled across the bedroom towards the head and reached up to scratch my shoulder and it felt like I am in body armor. Not even a week on and I am starting to harden and fill up. Now I am too damn excited to go back to sleep!
 
Today was Rest. I was tired at work and think that may be the beast. People tell me I look bigger and my weight is up. I weighed in this AM @ 238.

I feel strong and am looking forward to hitting my 5x5 routine tomorrow.

Eating is a real chore. And with all the water I am drinking, my teeth are floating.

I went for 30min brisk walk this AM and got serious shin splints. That is definitely new and unwanted. I pray I don't get back pumps any time soon!

All in all I am doing great.
 
I just started mine today and feel a few of the same things you describe. The pain 1st thing in the morning after taking 1st dose. Even though Im taking it with food. I feel dry, but have to piss alot. Feel like the pump is there already on day 1.
 
1 week under my belt.

I feel on, but the beast does cause lethargy. I have RS-trans but I can see where injectable test would be more effective.

Water intake is good, I do feel a bit bloated so I am going to dial my carb intake a bit and replace with protein cals.

Strength is good, but am hoping in the next few weeks my recovery is better. Slight strength gains in all 5x5 lifts. I did stay at current squat working sets as my form suffered a bit.

I look good, but actually lost some vascularity. My sodium plus carbs will be dialed back a bit. i imagine this time next week, I should be good to go.

Weight is up slightly. I started last week at 230 and am now at 238 first thing in the AM.

Aggression is not good, and my wife called me on it. I told her I just needed to get to the gym and it would be better...

I am getting enough sleep, I just waiting for the cycle to really kick in and hope I feel in next week.
 
Day 8

Rest day! Thank goodness. The 5x5s kicked my ass this week.

I just woke up and weighed in. 236. My muscles look fuller and feel denser which is good. I am not as spongy as I was earlier in the week.

I am looking forward to hitting it hard in the gym on Monday. Meanwhile, rest!

If the back pumps kick in, which it did for me and it was near unbearable, taurine really does help! I took the advice from people here and supplemented taurine and there was a big difference in on set of back pumps and how severe it was. Other than that, awesome log and can't wait to see your final gains! Awesome!

Pissing a lot is the fact that Beast and katanadrol are both DHT derivatives. This is lowering estrogen and progestrin which means you will be holding a lot less water now. You are going to want to drink more water. Make sure you feed the beast carbs or you will get lethaargic... Many people like to use Rs-transaderm to ward this off but just getting in more carbs will solve the problem... Try adding MW-HDP to post work out I sell it at needtobuildmuscle.com but you can read about it here WM-HDP

Better protein bars will also give you a kick in the ass, they're buy two get one free right now. I love the things, I go through a bag a week. Original pb is not included in the sale by the way
 
Day 10

Outstanding workout:

5x5's with accesories and energy to spare.

I have a great pump and am definitely feeling strong.

My weight is up and I dropped my carbs a bit as I was really feeling lethargic the last few days.

Every morning I wake up and feel a little tighter. My upper back, arms, chest, and legs are especially tight. Feels great!

I gotta work my lower abs and spinal erectors so I added ab wheelouts and good mornings to accesory today.

My squat form is still subpar at the bottom so I dropped the weight down to 240 to adhere to better form, and I added squat-to-stands for dynamic warmup to increase mobility.

My BP is climbing fast--too fast for my Pendley rows. I dropped my BP working sets to 240 and moved my grip in to still trigger growth. Pendley rows working sets are 185. Sure, I can go heavier but then my form suffers.

I did 3 sets of 10 on Alt DB bicep curls at 45. That rounded out a great workout.

Diey is uber strict. I am chiwing in 3rd meal and so far today:

1 cup coffee
12 egg whites
1/2 banana
1 cup steel cut oats
1 Tbsp organic raw almond butter

4oz chicken breast
4oz 90% lean burger patty
1 cup brocolli
1 tsp flax seed oil

GNC recovery whey midworkout

Protein shake pwo
2 scoops gnc whey
1/2 cup nonfat cottage cheese
1 Tbsp organic Pbutter
1 omega3 egg
2 cups baby spinach

10oz roasted turkey
Raw almonds
1 cup brocolli
3/4 cup brown rice

A bath tub of water. I am always drinking and pissing.

OK 238 weigh-in

I have noticed moderate weight flucuation last week but this week instead of weight gain per se, my muscles are getting tighter. Wife said she could bounce a quarter off my ass.

Size is most definitely there and my muscles look fuller. No bloat and this is a no shit assessment that this beast/kata/transderm is working!

Frankly with under 2 weeks into cycle I am very pleased with the results thus far.

I am wondering, should I do HiiT or cardio on my offdays? Currently 5x5s on M/W/F is all I am doing.

I think you should go more if you feel like you can. No need to short change yourself. Use this to break some PR's. I am using Animal Flex to help the joints. I have no issues at all. May want to give it a try. Best joint supp on the market, period!

Day 13 and offday from 5x5s.

I haven't been doing any cardio while doing 5x5s and I am 1/2 way thru this cycle. Since I am running both Beast and Kat I am finding my bodyweight increases have tapered off.

My strength gains are good. My diet is still in check but I find I am too full to choke down my casein before bed.

I think I will start some cardio on off days starting today, because I have lost my abs which is bumming me out.

I feel the same only after a week. Feel like I am fluffy in the midsection compared to last week. And I have not changed my diet too much. I eat alot normally. So 4500 cals is pretty average while Im bulking. I hit up cardio this am.
 
Hi Crixus. If you're experience is like mine that pain subsides in a day or two. I may be wrong, but think it might be due to initial toxicity in the cycle and my body adapted. Do take N2Guard!

Holy shit what a workout today!

I absolutely blew through my 5x5s and accesories and have an awesome pump and sense of well-being. My body is wrecked right now, I could definitely use a massage.

I woke up this AM, weighed in at 239 which is 9 lbs in 2 weeks. I am happy with the results thus far.

Strength gains is 20lbs+ on all working sets of squat, deadlift, bench, rows and OH press. I am very happy with this. I had to bring my squat down slightly as my form started to suffer. Now I am forcing myself to increase +5lbs/week on working sets to be inline with Madcow 5x5 gains program. I simply added accessory sets for more volume. I do ez bar tricep extensions and ez bar curls on Monday, good mornings and ab wheel rollouts on Wednesday and weighted dips and weighted chinups on Friday.

I am definitely in the zone and I can keep up with the recovery. I don't feel overtrained. I know I can toss more poundage on the bar but I don't want to risk silly injury.

Day 17. Happy New Year, gang.

Weight is up 10 lbs. Diet has been spot on the entire cycle. Water intake is ridiculous, and I am ALWAYS taking a piss.

Downsides? Headaches from time to time but manageable. A few back pumps but I do not have taurine on hand. I take Aleve. This is a bulk cycle so I am not doing cardio, but will resume towards back end of PCT.

Strength is most definitely up. I am sticking to my Madcow 5x5 weekly increases and blowing through them frankly. So I leverage accessory for my blowouts. On top of squats, bench and rows I did tricep extensions and ezcurl bar bicep curls.

I must thank Needto because he suggested I grab either N2KTS or N2Amp for preworkout pump. I opted for N2Amp and OMFG I took 3/4 dose. I was so jacked that I was screaming between sets. It's a good thing I have my power rack in my garage, because I would have made a spectacle of myself at the local 24 Hour Fatness! I worked out for 2 hours and I am still ready to kill some shit.

I have some Bigblast protein coming this week which is good since I am phasing out the GNC whey that I have.

I feel strong as Hell and I think I look good. My wife is 5'3, 120 and I am 6'3, 240. I am the thickest I have ever been and she digs it. And that is all that matters.

I am looking forward to resting up until Wednesday where I plan to hit deadlifts and OH press with a vengeance. Now it's time to chow.

Day 19

240 lbs weigh in. Solid gains and don't feel bloated. Muscles nice and tight

Digging the transderm. Tingly after application and immediately tightens up chest and shoulders.

First meal:

1 cup steel cut oatmeal with handful of almonds and 1/2 banana, half cup coffee, 16oz h2o and a dozen egg whites raw.

Took my N2Amp and was jacked for my workout which I killed! Feel goddamn young and full of cum.

Postworkout shake with frozen blueberries, whey, baby spinach. I sucked that down and licked the blender.

N2Guard, HCGenerate, Gear, Beast and Katana on board.

I would kill for some test but I will manage.

I am definitely going to grab some bridge after my PCT of forma stanzonol, Post Cycle and Unleashed. I may run SARMs after bridge, researching that.

Thanks Crix. Dude get some of Needto's N2Amp. The Beastdrol sluggishnesh you are feeling will be a non-issue after 8 capsules and a tall glass of water. And I am not a rep for the product but a HUGE fan. N2Amp is the best pre-workout supp I have ever used. If you run it, lemme know how you like it. I bet that helps you in the gym!

3 weeks today. Gained 12 lbs so far. Diet has been very good. Blazing through my Madcow 5x5s.

I am loving the n2Amp preworkout, it seriously jacks me up.

My Big Blast protein powder came while working out this AM and I sucked down a strawberry shake mixed with a cup of blueberries and I was licking the blender--I thought I was at Dairy Queen it was so good.

Sockeye salmon, wild rice and brocolli for lunch in about 45 min.

There can ve no doubt that this cycle is working. My only recommendation to others is to have a test base I think gains would have been even better.

I have just 1 week left. If I get to 245 lbs by the 13th I will be stoked.

The mass is there. I will post a pic next Friday and then another after PCT.

On another note, I am looking at a lean mass/hardening cycle after I bridge:

1-10Test E 500 @ 250 Wed and Sun
1-5 Anavar 60mg ED
5-10 Tren E 400 @ 200 Wed and Sun
1-13 Anastrazole .5mg ED

nice work man ive been runnin test e for 2 weeks now and on day 9 of beastdrol.. the strength has came on really nice now.. Did you just keep getting stronger and stronger through ur cycle?
 
Thanks Crix. The strength is awesome, isn't it? I am doing Madcow 5x5s, and in each compound movement (Bench, Squat, DL, Row, OH Press) my working sets have gone up at least 20 lbs in each. I am being conservative on these lifts to a degree, trying not to get hurt and holding strict form. My accessory work which varies depending on the compound lift it is mapped to is where I push myself to the brink. These include ab wheel rollouts, good mornings, weighted dips, weighted chins, tricep extensions and bicep curls. You are gonna really start getting strong next week. Week 2 was insane for me and with you test E on board, you will be tossing weights around! Have fun!!
 
Everything is lookingt good man. What is your bridge gonna look like? Are your gains solid or have you picked up a little BF. My wife says I don't look like I have picked up any BF or if so, very little. And my wife doesnt hold back, If she thinks Im getting fat, she tells me. So I am guessing everything I have gained is pretty solid. I may have to throw up some after pics as well.
 
Hey Oldgoat. Wives can be brutally honest. My wife says I lost some bodyfat but definitely gained muscle. I don't have a great degree of definition but look much thicker. I don't look bloated. My "estrogen pockets" are my biceps, around my pecs, my navel and obliques. Everywhere else is good to go. I am pretty confident that during PCT all of the above will harden up.
 
Yeah brother, my wife will straight up tell me if I have or have not gained, and if Im getting fat or not. Been together for a long time, and she tells it like it is for sure.

Heya Gymjunkie. Howzit? I am up to 243 lbs this morning but I weighed in tonight before bed at 248. I ate like a horse today! 245 is my goal then trim it down is the plan. This definitely is a lean bulk for me. I am solid as a rock or so I feel.

Okay sportsfans. I am going on record:

THIS SHIT WORKS!!!!!!

I am up to 246 lbs. I have 2 days left in this 4 week cycle. I would not be surprised if I don't clip 250 by Friday.

My strength and size are off the charts. I am having trouble staying on target with 5x5's. They are too damn EZ. I had light squats, Dead lifts and Overhead presses today, it was a joke. I could have easily tossed 10-20 lbs more on every set. I have to do accessory work to get a real workout, so I did 4 sets of Ab wheel rollouts at 15 reps and Good mornings for 3 sets of 10.

My diet remains VERY solid. Water intake great (1.5g/day). I am digging Big Blast protein and look forward to every post workout shake. It tastes like Dairy Queen. By the way, here is my post workout shake recipe:

16oz water
5 icecubes
1 cup of frozen blueberries
1 heaping handful of baby spinach
1/4 cup Nonfat Greek Yogurt
1 tsp of glutamine
15 raw almonds or 1tsp of almond butter or 1 tsp of organic peanut butter
1 whole omega 3 egg
1/2 cup of Big Blast protein powder

I have an occasional headache (BP-related no doubt) and I sleep for shit (should have N2Sleep but don't), waking up 2x night to piss, and on 2nd wakeup (around 4am) it takes time to get back to sleep. It is what it is.

I have some minor hair shedding. Both father and maternal/paternal grandfathers had full heads of hair well into their 70s so I am not too concerned this cycle (but my next cycle of Test E/Tren A and Anavar may be a different story).

I just got my new shipment of creatine from N2BM (Thanks Nathan). I haven't been on it all cycle. I will add this to my PCT of Post Cycle/Unleashed.

I also wanna emphasize how jacked I get from N2Amp. I know a bunch of folks use N2KTS but I am diggin' N2Amp. (No, I am not a rep!)

2 more days, I could not be happier with this cycle. Sucks big time that Beast and Katanadrol are going to be banned soon.

Solid write up man. I was a skeptic, but not any more. Looks like we had about the same cycle as far as sides and results. Looking forward to seeing your final result and how PCT goes.
 
Off cycle!

Not a minute too soon... My BP has been up (feel it pulsing in my hands) and have had headaches this past week. My sleep patterns have been rough and I had a few nosebleeds. Top it all off, I have a nagging hemorrhoid.

I start PCT Monday: Unleashed and Post Cycle as 3 caps each throughout day. Forma Stanzol 5 pumps morning and evening. I am keeping my diet clean but am going to reintroduce cardio, slowly.

I have some leftover HCGenerate. Should I continue it until gone?


I made the weight I was after (245) and my strength rocks. I will post some pics either this weekend or early next week.

Now, off to my 5x5s and then post-workout shake. Thanks for checking in.
 
I would finish off the HCGen. No harm in it. A question? Why are you waiting to go into PCT? Shouldnt you start it the day after the finish of the cycle?

Good to hear you made your goal. I have been feeling the same as you except the nose bleeds so far, and hemorrhoid. Seems later in the afternoon the BP gets up and pumping. I have noticd some swelling in my feet and hands. Can't see the pics cause Im not a member. But are you happy with the results, size wise? Do you think it is pretty much quality gains? Check your PM's, I will share something with you.
 
Hey Goat, thanks. I am happy but think this bulker would be even better if I started with less BF%. Still, both size and strength is there. I have to shed the water and some fat and keep 5-6 lbs of muscle.

I will finish the HCGenerate then. As for the 3 day wait to begin PCT, I am instead starting today and my last Beast was Thursday night. Some folks said start 3 days, others next day and still others same day...

2nd day of PCT. I am taking Post Cycle and Unleashed as well as forma stanzol. Finishing up my HCGenerate and still have plenty of N2Guard and Gear.

I feel good and am doing some active recovery before I resume my 5x5s tomorrow.

I lost a little water weight otherwise feel good and hard still.

Anxious to see how I do in the gym tomorrow without being on the beast or katanadrol.
 
Hows the BP? I am going to go back to a more pump style workout. Not my powerbuilding that I have been doing. Keep pushing hard man, I think you should still be close if not the same as last week as far as what weight your tossing around. Check that PM link I sent you, it is updated.
 
BP seems to be coming down. No headaches, nosebleeds or pulsation thru my hands. All good. Most definitely looking forward to the workout tomorrow.

Add in Need2slin if you are not on this already. You will get a quick boost to strength and endurance bro with your muscles filling up with ATP you can also get a weight increase too...
 
PCT going well. Great workout and strength increasing. I am liking the Unleashed. Sex is good and the boys are out playing :)

Diet is still good. I did have a couple pieces of pizza yesterday. I needed that for sanity!

2 weeks into PCT. Observations:

I am leaning out pretty well. I weighed in at 236 and my abs are starting to come back in. I maintained some of the mass so I am pleased.

Blood pressure is back down 117/72 and resting heartrate at 52bpm. I had a blood panel performed and will have results next week.

Diet is still solid but I did drop total calories to ~3000. Water intake still 1.5gal/day.

I am taking Animal Stak, Flex, fishoil, N2Slin as well as extra D3, C and calcium.

PostCycle, Unleashed and Forma still onboard.

Strength waned a little bit but did not negatively affect my 5x5 gains.
 
Looks like everything is still on par. Are you trying to slim everything back up? I am gonna try to hold this bulk, but dont know if that will happen or not. Hopefully your results will be good.
 
Hey Oldgoat, yeah I am keeping some of it but I do want to stay lean too. My next cycle after my PCT and bridge will be a move towards density and vascularity for Summer. I am thinking about Test E, Anavar and possibly Provirone.
 
I know exactly what you mean. I was a body bearer when stationed in DC. We were actually encouraged to juice but not officially. When I transferred to the fleet and in a rifle platoon I had to use what was on the shelf. Nevermind the fact I was humpin' a 60lbs alice pack, flak jacket, M-60 and ammo when we played cowboys and indians. I can't imagine what my knees would be like if I were 240 back then!
