Hey gang,
I started a new cycle last Friday (12/16/11). I figured I would do this before Beast and Katanadrol became illegal.
It has been 20 years since I cycled, and back then it was Test Cyp and Sus 250. I was 21, didn't do sh_t for PCT and let nature take its course.
I have been in and out of the gym my whole life, but really returned permanently about 2 years ago.
Stats:
44 yrs old
6'3, 235 lbs
18% BF (although I need to caliper this for the log)
Goal:
Size, strength and muscle density increase with a decrease in BF. I would like to see my PRs on bench, squat, DL, Pendley rows and upright presses all increase. After PCT, I will cut naturally, but I may also consider bridging and doing Halodrol + transderm. (I haven't decided).
Cycle:
Beast 30/30/30/30
Kata 250/250/250/250
Transderm 5 pumps daily for 4 weeks
PCT:
Unleashed + PostCycle + Forma
Supplements:
N2Guard 7 throughout the day
Fish oil
Glucosamine/Condroiten
Vit D3
Vit C
GNC BCAAs
N2BM Gear (if it ever gets delivered)
ZMA
CLA
L-Carnitine
My daily chow is approx 4500 calories, across 5-6 meals. 50% protein, 30% carbs and 20% fat. Protein is whole eggs, lean beef, turkey, chicken breast, tuna. Complex carbs are steel cut oats, quinoa, long grain wild rice or brown rice, and sweet potatoes. Fats are fish oil, flax seed, almonds, olive oil, avocado. I eat green leafy veggies with every meal except breakfast, where I have a banana in my oatmeal (2 cups).
I do have a postworkout shake, I used GNC anabolic whey. It has very little carbs, so I add raw oatmeal for carbs.
I am sucking down 1.5Gal of filtered water/day and drink 1-2 cups of brewed green tea. All in all, rather boring protocol.
I have a preworkout drink (NO + caffeine, don't recall name). I drink Biotest Surge for my periworkout drink (BCAAs+simple sugars) and right after workout I suck down GNC Anabolic Whey recovery.
I am doing MadCow 5x5s am in the second week. My working sets are:
Squats: 260x5
Bench: 250x5
Rows: 205x5
Deads: 300
OH Press: 140
Not particularly strong but am really focusing on good form.
I am 4 days into this cycle. Initial impressions:
1. A shit load of capsules to track, especially the N2Guard and Kata
2. Transderm 5 pumps is a very small amount. Apply quickly as it dries fast.
3. I get pain in my kidneys in the AM when I first pop Beast/Kata/HCGenerate. I thought it was a coincidence, it's not. I don't get the pain for the rest of the day. Anyone else get that? Strange.
4. I do seem a bit more agitated already.
5. My sack is tighter, and my wife made a comment about it. I told her it's all the food I am taking in plus supplements. It's also cold in the house
6. I do feel a slight pump already but don't know if that is MadCow's, diet, the beast/kata or a combination.
7. I am eating a lot more than I am used to, and having to force down the carbs, which until now have been restricted to just first meal post-workout. I know I have to feed the beast throughout the day.
8. I am pissing like a racehorse 2x night.
9. I am up 5 lbs (water no doubt) from when I started.
Questions:
1. When should I expect to start seeing increases in strength and/or size?
2. Will I continue to see size/strength gains in PCT?
3. On cycle, will I see some muscle density/vascularity or am I going to look like Capt. Dianabol?
I welcome any comments -- good/bad/ugly!
I will post before/after's and maybe even a few in betweens in later posts. I don't plan on hitting this log daily, but definitely a few times a week.
