Getting fed up w/ acne again, damn hormones all outa wack and I've always been seriously prone (havn't been clear in 6-7 years) Went on prescription meds worked a bit but never completely cleared up. Now I don't have health insurance (just came off my parents since I study for certs at home instead of college I no longer qualify)

Heres what I've found for acne meds. The accutane is too expensive for me and I've never heard
of Thiomuscase anyone ever try it? the Methoxalen seems dirt cheap, I don't reconize the active ingredient though, (anyone recall any name brand scripts w/ it, that way I can research on its effectiveness/sides ect..)

OXSORALEN Methoxsalen 10 mg 25 caps $ 11
? RETIRIDES (Retinova) Tretinoine 0.025% cream - 30 g $ 11
? RETIRIDES (Retinova) Tretinoine 0.05% cream - 30 g $ 19
? RETIRIDES (Retinova) Tretinoine 0.10% cream - 30 g $ 27
? ROACUTAN (Accutane) Isotretinoine 10 mg 50 caps $ 99
? ROACUTAN (Accutane) Isotretinoine 20 mg 50 caps $ 164
? THIOMUCASE Tiomucase, ... 1.000 TRU, ... 10 sup $ 12
? THIOMUCASE Tiomucase 135 TRU cream - 45 g $ 11

I'll be starting B5 treatment anyone know of a place to buy B5 cheap? considering how much you seem to need for treating Acne w/ it looks like I'm buying bulk here.

I heard Zinc helps (though it can make it worse too) but its in my regular multi w/ pretty good amounts.

Please reply w/ anyother usefull information that may help me or others, theres been quite a few good threads involving acne especially on the steroid board where they constantly screw w/ their hormone lvls. Updates and new testimonials are always good though.

Thnx,

wow, great first post, that will go down in the annals of EF lore!

Man I to be put on accutane when I was in high school. Absolutely hated that shit! It literally felt like it dried up my whole body and also didn't feel like I could stay hydrated. It worked in the end though I would probably never take it again.

uhh?????????? just use retinol. out of all of that other shit u listed besides Accutane i've never heard of.. had a hard time following your post. explain what you mean by 'B5' treatment. never heard of B5 for acne..
great products:
Finacea: Azelaic Acid 15%
Affirm 3x: Retinol
Duac: Clindamycin 1% and Benzoyl Peroxide 5%
Cetaphil Mild Face Wash
or even better what i use: Obagi Cleanziderm M.D.: Salicylic Acid 2%

but if your hell bent on taking pills just take Tetracycline

Apparently a high amount of vitamin B5 will dry you out and help to keep acne to a minimum. It would probably be a decent temporary fix.
Accutane has been the only thing that has ever worked for me, hands down the best to stop acne. Sides are far less than what other people seem to over exagerate.

accutane effects every1 differently. but i've never heard of mega dosing B5 to get rid of acne, i'm limited to the meds i can even take for acne anyways as i'm allergic to all -cyclines
