they had the weigh in before prejudging not 5 minutes before the show.
sources say when arnold was on stage he was around 225 to 230 in 1975.Im not talking about the prejuding weigh in. I can loose 7 lbs over night with lassix so do most bodybuilders.even if arnold weighed 240 that morning he could have lost 10lbs with eaze becuase that sthe way arnold was he was ether bulky or on directics and ripped before a show no real inbetween

In 1974 he supposed weighed 237 onstage and it showed becuase he looked 15lbs bigger then in 1975 although he was not as ripped as in 1975.

Great pics bro. But, Arnold is missing the GH gut and swelled up internal organs. That would add another 30-40 lbs right there!

sorry bro but arnold weight was at prejudging the nightbefore at 240 not the day of the show .it has been said by sources that were at the contest in 1975 arnold was only weighing around 230 maybe even as low as 225. arnold was really dyhdrated and every one knows that have competed that you can lose 10lbs from prejuding the night before to the day of the show due to duretics and trying to keep a small tight stomach empty. SO if arnold weight was 240 the night of the o in 1975 i dont buy it he was not as full and big as the year before weighing even less. It was a movie man arnold was setup to win they padded his weight to sound more impressive sorry to break it to ya the annouced what the guys weighed the day before at pre juding weigh in.
I have only done one small novice show with lasix and herbal green tea to lose the water I lost 7 pounds in one day after the prejuding weigh in And the next morning untill 4 ok I only ate nibbles of food I felt like total shit.
on that note you openly admit arnold weighed 220 in 1980 looks like arnold was ripping down a few days before instead of weighing in at prejudging then doing the diuretics

Arnold also, was missing growing each thigh to the size of his waist, and 1 and 1/2 times his arms, thats sooo symetrical . Mass has taking precedence over aesthetics to the point where the sport is a joke.

Your time line is way off you dont understand the time the weigh in took place and the time the actual show took place.

The whole point of this thread is to see the changes bodybuilders have gone though over the years. Obviously some shit has changed (i.e. amounts of drugs used). But, also - diet, training programs, etc have also changed. Believe me, those guys back then were not all drug-free either.

1968charger thanks for the private message you sent me confirming what i posted that around was around 225lb in the 75 show and not the over inflated joe weider weight you have read in the books over the years.

you should atleast give me credit and post in the room the weight frank zane replied to you in a email about how much arnold weighed. Was it 225lbs? or not?

alot of arnold was myth added to build the legend. But no matter what the books say other bodybuilders have confirmed it. One that have stood on stage with him have said arnold was 225lbs in the 75 big o. Even arnold himself said years ago his arms were never over 21 inches not even during conan when he was his biggest and softest.

Hey man no beef or anything I'm just glad zane got back with your emails you sent him and you were honest enough to man up to it and post that frank a reliable source says arnold was 225lbs during the 75 show.

Its to hard to explain the entire story to people about arnold broken leg and the directic use from pre judging to show time the next night.But I'm glad zane set it straight
